Brilliant performance
Fabulous item. I purchased a canvas and leather purse off eBay. It had a couple stains I didn’t want to look at. This product covered and colored the heavy canvas easily (not to mention the dark blue is a perfect match to the original blue leather, which I have not touched with any color). It will take some time, and touch up. But I’m very pleased. Remember to use a mist bottle to slightly dampen the fabric first, that’s the key to thorough and even saturation.

Works great
Easy to use, we painted around 300 fabric chairs with a paint gun and it work great.

Great for Reconditioning Velvet, But Be Patient!
I used this product to recondition and recolor my velvet chair on the right, and the results were impressive — just know it takes some technique. I diluted the product slightly with water, heavily misted the fabric first, brushed and then applied the dye following the natural direction of the velvet. You do have to comb the fabric while working to keep the pile smooth, and it’s important to apply the color in the darker direction first, let it fully dry, and then go back over the darker side. It wasn’t the easiest process, but the finish came out rich, even, and much better than I expected. If you’re willing to put in the time and follow the steps, this product absolutely works on velvet.

Somewhat streaky, requires multiple coats
I used this fabric paint to touch up my sun-bleached furniture. Overall the fabric looks better, however after several coats, the application still appears streaky. Still calling it a win!

It works but not ideal
We have a very comfortable older black chair and ottoman that the finish wore off of the fabric. Since we enjoyed the chair so much we decided to try this black paint as a possible solution. The directions say to moisten the fabric, apply the product and brush while drying to prevent stiffening. I did the ottoman first as directed and it came out nice but the fabric was fairly stiff, though still somewhat flexible. Since this paint is more of a thick gel, almost like jello than a paint I decided to thin it with water before doing the chair. This did help but after brushing it as it dried it still stiffened the fabric and it's noticeable when you feel it. On the good side, it covered pretty well and the chair looks much better, it dries overnight and there's no odor to it. There doesn't appear to be any color transfer of the dried product onto clothing and if you not worried about the way the fabric feels it may be worth a try just don't expect a complete renewal of the material.

Great way to upgrade a cheap Target lamp
Forgot to take a before-pic, but this lampshade was a a very light cream color with some stains. I only needed 2-3 tablespoons of paint, which I watered down heavily (I didn’t want it too dark). I sprayed the shade with water and kept misting it as I was working. I recommend a very fine mist spray bottle for more even saturation and less dripping. Applying it in thin, watery layers made it very blendable and forgiving. If any areas seemed too dark, a bit of water mist and blending with the brush evened it out easily. For the brush, I used a makeup brush with dense and short bristles, which worked perfectly for working the color into the fabric and getting the trim saturated without overflowing onto the shade. This lampshade has a kind of tweed pattern, so I swiped in the direction of the tweed, alternating vertically and horizontally. This was my first time and I found it pretty straightforward!

Messy but easier than you would think and cheaper than reupholstering
The stuff is awesome. I have a beautiful old antique chair that I dearly love but the color just doesn’t work. It’s like a harvest gold. I ordered a bottle of dark brown and it’s turning out beautiful.

Doesn't Last
I wanted to lvoe this product, I really did. It goes on beautifully (though I had to buy a second bottle to complete my wingbacked chair) and the color is gorgeous. However, sadly, it doesn't last. I used this on an old pink velvet wingback chair. It went on well, looked great, and dried quickly with good consistency. The chair gets next to no use except on the rare occassion a guest sits in it or when my cats sleep on it. It is not in direct sunlight either. About a week after painting it, the color on the edges started to show through. I'm afraid if I wash it, the entire coat will likely come off. I will admit, however, that hte fabric of the chair is very old (20+ years) and worn, so it may be there simply wasn't enough velvet to absorb it or it might have been the velvet itself (though its synthetic).

It is very good product.
I have folowed intructions how to use. It came up very good. I had jacket that outer layer fall apart. I had clean it and use this paint and it worked perfectly. I got wet in the rain, paint stand as new. I highly recomend it. P.S. color of fabric that I painted on, was light green. Now it is nice black. First picture show how it was before. Second how it looks after painting.

Works well
Used to paint an ottoman, easy to use and covers well, just have to watch for streaks. I ordered two bottles but only needed one so have some left for repairs. Good colour definition, nice and even.

Ne s’adapte pas à tous les tissus
La peinture n’est pas faite pour les tissus foncé (rien n’était indiqué) et s’absorbe, j’ai perdu 11€… heureusement que j’ai fait une phase test
