This garlic paste has a strong aroma and flavor. It's excellent for making homemade garlic bread. The aroma is strong and maybe too strong for me but that's just how garlic is naturally as well. If you love garlic I think you'd enjoy this.

Packaging was good - the jar was tightly wrapped and sealed well. Even so, there was a smell of garlic when I opened the package. Not sure why as everything was definitively sealed and there were no leaks or anything. The flavor is great - very strong garlic flavor in a creamy paste. I love fresh garlic but don’t always have the time or patience to chop it from a fresh bulb so I usually have a jar of minced garlic on hand. This has much more flavor and I like that the garlic is in paste form, easier to blend with soups and stews.

O’Valley Farms Ajo Peruvian garlic paste 7.5oz. I was a little nervous as this said it was a glass jar and the brand name sounds a little sketchy. However, it came exactly as pictured and well wrapped with bubble wrap padding. I do worry about the security seal. The lid did “pop” when opened, yet, I could strongly smell the contents before doing so. I worry about the tightness of these seals as I got a chicken marinade from this brand and it was the same way. I recommend refrigerating immediately or transferring to a container with a better lid.Aside from that, this garlic paste is rich, pungent, and creamy. It’s great for garlic bread, dips, or pasta dishes etc. A little goes a long way as it’s much more concentrated than fresh garlic cloves. Also I feel it’s aptly priced for a fairly large jar. The Expiration date on mine was 7/4/2024.I would recommend this product to food and garlic lovers alike. I took off a star due to the seal issues. 4/5 stars from me.

Great to use in place of regular garlic-nice flavors and texture. Not sealed well though-wrapped in bubble wrap for shipping-Very strong garlic smell even befor opening jar. Placed it in a tough plastic back to stor in fridge, otherwise the smell overpowers the kitchen

My husband and I both love anything that's garlic and when I saw this paste I knew we had to try it.Before I even opened the package, I could smell the garlic. It has a bold and strong scent and a flavor to match. My husband has been using it in a variety of dishes he's been cooking and it's really been elevating his cooking. It tastes great on burgers, with eggs, in pasta sauce, etc. There are many ways to add this to what you're eating.It's thin enough to mix into sauce but thick enough to be used as a condiment. I'm really impressed by the versatility of this product. The garlic flavor is fantastic and we're enjoying using it in a variety of ways.

This is a jar of very fresh, strong garlic paste. The aroma fills the air before the lid is even fully removed!I put this paste to use the day it arrived and made garlic bread. Very simple. Slice a loaf of bread in half, spread soft or melted butter on the bread, followed by a thin layer of garlic paste. I sprinkled it with parsley and paprika. Bake for 5 minutes, switch to the broiler for a couple more minutes. Ready to eat. Delicious!My only issue, and loss of a star, was that the jar did not have any kind of safety seal on it. This caused the lid to come loose during the journey. I felt comfortable using the paste anyway becasue the entire jar was securely wrapped in bubble wrap, and did not appear tampered with, but some kind of seal, even shipping tape, gives me another level of confidence that the product is safe.

Smelled product through the plastic, then discovered it was not sealed and the lid "button" was popped up. Discarded immediately. Waste of money

What I like the most about this garlic paste is that I can easily add some garlic to almost any dish without having to peel and cut a real garlic. I use it for sandwiches, soups, salads, and sauces. The texture is creamy and smooth. It has a strong flavor and scent.
