A few weeks later it still smells musty. But when the weather improves we will air it. We received our order 4 days before we expected it. Took about 2 hours for the memory foam topper to puff up to it's full size and shape. Yes it did have a smell , as normal for the product and explained in the accompanying leaflet. The slight smell had disappeared within a couple of days. But the main thing about this mattress topper was the comfort and improvement to both my husbands and my sleep. We both suffer from lower back pain and arthritis, from the first night we both noticed the difference,no more tossing and turning to get comfortable, just a much better night's sleep. I guess it's very much a personal thing, depending on your physical issues and expectations, for us it's really made a difference and definitely good value for money.
