It doesn't stick and you can use less heat because it spreads the heat evenly and efficiently. It is a heavy pan. You could use it as a lethal weapon. That means it isn't going to slide around the burner as you try to stir or remove food due to the fact that it is too lightweight or the bottom has developed a curve. This is a very sturdy frying pan. We plan to buy more of these in different sizes. My son and his wife have an entire set of these pots and pans and inspired us to buy our first BergHOFF pan.
