This set is smaller than I had thought it would be but my kids had a great time playing and building their sand towns with them.

The size of the toys makes it possible to pack in a luggage, though it takes a lot of space. I like that the smaller pieces fit inside the biggest one. The plastic material is thick enough to not break easily but still squeezable to push the sand out of the mold. We haven't tried it yet, but it seems to be of good quality.

Very small but easily stored and lightweight for travel Bold colors and hard plastic… Sand is hard to get out of the smaller pieces … not for toddlers …

This sand set includes an impressive variety of shapes and tools. I love the level of detail in the larger castles, and the smaller accent pieces allow for lots of mix-and-match creativity. Definitely recommend! By the way, we also used this set for a different purpose. I covered it with a mixtures of beach sand, sand colored paint, and glue to construct a faux sand castle for our beach themed wedding. It turned out so cute!! I included a pic for anyone who wants to steal this idea. You can also get a feel for how a real sand castle will turn out when using this set.

The bucket is the perfect size, and although the other castle pieces are small they work great to build a sand castle. I’m no sure why anyone would complain about the size.. I personally wouldn’t want huge pieces to lug to the beach or to fill large amounts of sand.. l.o.l.

These were like mini sized! I returned.

Kids in the sandbox love it. They make sandcastle all day. Love how many pieces to help make unique castles.
