This is a great book, illustrations are fantastic, feels more like thick magazine but it is very detailed and a great one for a novice and pro alike

Everything that I wanted from this book and even slightly more! Frankly, despite the fact that it is a bit outdated it has a very valuable knowledge not only for amateurs but also engineers.

Great book! If you are going to design / build your own car - this book is i a must! I'm a Mechanical Engineer - and it taught me more than I care to admit! It's based on real world experience and the advice works.

The technical content is well presented & readable, it is however fairly basic. Not for someone with a pre existing basic knowledge of chassis engineering/setup .

Livre en anglais datant de 25 ans, écrit par un ingénieur américain des années 60, avec des photos de supercars américaines des années 80. Un livre principalement de vulgarisation, qui aborde les sujets importants, sans jamais les explorer complétement. Les schémas sont mal faits et mal expliqués, et on peut noter quelques approximations et contre vérités, et beaucoup de lacunes. Je ne peux pas dire que je n'ai rien appris, mais, cherchant un livre qui enfin m'apporte ce qu'il faut savoir sur la dynamique d'un véhicule, j'ai été largement déçu. En ce qui concerne le "chassis engineering", à part de dire qu'il faut trianguler, on n'en apprend guère plus.

Non e un manuale passo passo, ma bensì un corso, come definito dallo scrittore. Le lezioni sono suddivise in capitoli e partono dalle basi per man mano aggiungere elementi. Scritto bene e impostato nelpdo giusto. L'unico difetto se proprio vogliamo trovarne uno è la stampa in bianco e nero che un po' fa perdere istruttivitá alle immagini.

Great book

Súper recomendado si apenas estás conociendo vehicle systems. Te lleva de la mano en un ejercicio simple durante todo el libro. Debes tomas en cuenta que Es más simplificado que un fundamentals of vehicle dynamics.
