Bought one of these torches it came with the wrong charger, ordered a replacement from Amazon it also came with the wrong charger, contacted ring and explained the situation and said If they could send me 2 chargers then I’d keep both torches and that’s exactly what they did. It’s good to have 2 for when dies at an inconvenient time, they are good torches with a nice white light not the horrible blue tinge that comes on some of them and they do seem to last a while but maybe not a long as I was expecting, I’m no battery expert so not sure if it’s just because they are still quite new and with a few full charge cycles the life may improve. My only other issue with them is the magnets that hold them to surfaces could be a lot stronger. Other than that nice torches, not too expensive.

Bought one of these several months for use in garage workshop. Had several lamps before but this is the best yet. Brightest bright light I've had. Torch is very handy for looking through wheels at disc pads etc. Very robust, been dropped several times! Battery life is also excellent, rarely needs recharging during the day. Magnets are OK but could be a bit better. Highly recommend. Bought another on 30 April as my workmate damaged the first one & oh dear, 31st May & it stopped working! Though it did have something loose rattling around inside from day one. This one hadn't been dropped at all! Still recommend it though.

To be clear this review is for the Ring RIL3600HP. I paid about £25 for it. Simply the best torch I’ve had yet. Seems well built - the workshop will find that out but for £25 absolute bargain. I tested the run time - I got 3 hrs 10 mins on the main LED (brightest). This was after the first full charge, at room temperature (about 20c). I then fully charged the torch, which took a shade under 4.5 hours. Okay, the charge time is long but at this price, but more than one or buy the fast charging model in the Ring range. Good magnets - one on the bottom, one on the back. Can’t wait to use it in anger!

I bought this after another cheaper light i had bought had suffered a fall and fell apart. I decided to spend the extra and get a good quality light for work. After the money i had spent on replacing the cheaper lights i could have just bought this one and not had to keep replacing lights after a little bump that wrecked them. The magnet is nice and strong on this light ( which is useful to stop it falling off unlike cheaper lights). It comes with a mains charger for it which lesser products do not. The tilt and swivel function is very handy to make sure the light is pointed where you need it. I do wish the battery lasted longer even though when i compared other lights of similar size and quality the amount of time this light has is compatible and about the same. It also takes a while to fully charge as well. It has a very bright light with nice wide beam pattern that is nice and clear. It will keep nice and bright until the battey runs out in which it will shut off. Since it does this you dont get any warning the battery is low or about to run out. Handy as the light is still bright right up to the end, but a pain as it really does just shut off suddenly leaving you in the dark. Other then that. It has a nice feel in the hand feels to be made very solid and i find the main lamp as well and the end torch are both very useful bright lights. I would and i have recommended this to other guys i work with who are also wanting to upgrade their lights form lesser quality products.

This is a good lamp, nice and bright, acceptable battery life, lots of adjustments to angle and twist the head and the torch function is good for concentrating light on a particular subject. The downsides? Well it takes a long while to charge and because it has a magnet on the bottom it makes the base uneven when it stands on something non-magnetic (which will be most of the time).

I've given this product five stars if only because it is without doubt the brightest and most flexible work light I have ever used. I have an old classic car with an extremely tight engine bay and have used this light daily over the past week while carrying out a variety of jobs. It has been easy to twist it, pin it to other pieces of metal etc to make the light as effective as possible. One of the best things about the light is that it retains 100% brightness until the battery runs out. A couple of minor criticisms: I would have liked a bit more battery life, it would be good if the light were able to be operated while charging and i wish the on/off switch was on the back and not the front of the light to avoid nearly blinding yourself when you switch it on! The light is also tough - I dropped it a couple of times from above the engine and it showed no ill effects at all despite landing hard on the concrete floor below. An excellent product well worth the price!

Bought around 10 years ago used then put aside as conditions varied. Rediscovered in 2025 still with power in its battery. Recharged on the original charger and now prominently displayed as a useful part of my workshop. Robust and effective doing what it's designed for. Would also be a good camping light or kept in a car. Has two magnets, one fixed but the one on the base swivels in both directions proving more useful than modern replacements and the LED light is very good. Modern version looks very similar but more compact and still sold by Amazon £25
