The 8mm foam underlay makes a smooth ironing surface. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fitted perfectly *by T***N on 25 March 2026* Fitted perfectly ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality cover but not as described *by C***R on 7 March 2024* I purchased this cover for a very old ironing board. The original cover slotted under the iron stand but I was unable to find one to fit. I chose this one to fit over the board and iron stand and because it was advertised as a complete set, so no need to buy more felt. The fit is good and easily adjustable for a non-standard ironing board size. Ironing is smooth and easy. However, as noted by other reviewers, the Amazon description states it is 4mm foam and 4mm felt. The product packaging states it is 8mm foam, so it is not as described. It is therefore not a complete set. Given the cost I did not want to buy more felt, so fitted it over my old cover. I contacted Brabantia through Amazon but they have not responded in over a week.
