Good product. App selection and setup not so user friendly.

Purchased for my mam (late 60s) as she enjoys using the streaming apps on her phone or tablet but with her eyesight worsening I wanted to get her an easy to use smart(ish) tv. Tv arrived packaged well. The initial setup was super easy. It did require setting up a free Roku account to use the App Store but this only took 1 minute. We’re based in Ireland so it was great to get Irish apps like Rte player and NowTv on it quickly. Also super easy to remove apps which she would not use. The main Home Screen is super easy to navigate and she picked it up immediately. It’s less cluttered than more smart or premium offerings so perfect for an audience like this. WiFi connection proved no problem and it’s quick to connect to her hotspot when she uses it. Volume is incredibly high (which suits her) - I would say the video mode is eco friendly I believe when you first turn it on, but you can simply select other modes. I think we chose a vivid mode and the colours were punchy and bright going forward. Highly recommend for older users for the ease of use without the fluff.

Pretty easy to set up - took me about an hour from beginning to end - it does what you expect it to do in the modern world. Coupla tips: 1. Chromecast. If you're casting, you'll have to find the relevant HDMI socket from the 'home' control button each time, to move into the channel that's casting. 2. I spent ages thinking the volume control button on the remote wasn't working. Wrong! It's on the left of the central control button rather than the right. Works fine. 3. To say this isn't like a Freeview box where you get all the channels. You have to add apps to it. We might be wrong about this and haven't found the right way of doing it but you get a set of options of apps like BBC iPlayer and suggested programmes underneath. So it's not a Freeview box, in other words where you get a list of channels and what they're streaming and you scroll down them; it's not cable TV.

I bought one of these for my kitchen. When I saw how good it is, I bought another one to put in my bedroom. I've put it on the kitchen wall and the other on its own stand. Easy to set up and great picture.

Worked great for 1 year... then completely broke! Read the reviews before buying, mentioning 'lines' on the TV, sure enough from the start they were there, but it functioned fine and didn't really affect it at the start so thought nothing more of it, assuming it must just be the LED arrangment. Then the screen started malfunctioning about the 1 year mark with dead pixels and massive lines appearing, with half the screen dissappearing at times, and now it just will not work at all, went dead (as shown in picture) I managed to get a full refund thankfully! But this is not a quality product. Personally, I wouldn't waste my money, will be using the refund money to purchase a more reliable make!

So happy with this TV it took about 10 mins to set up and that was mainly putting the legs on. Screen quality is fantastic for the price. It has 3 hdmi ports so you can set up multiple devices, the volume is very surprising as it goes really loud, and it's loud even on a lower number which is great and I find myself turning stuff up constantly. Would recommend if you want a basic smart TV, it connects to to WiFi really fast, and fits so well onto my small dresser

Bought for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas as her TV broke in her room a few weeks before hand. Wasn’t expecting much for the price but I’m really impressed. Volume is loud. Picture quality is great, easy to set up and connect to the internet. Overall a great purchase.

The best tv ever

TV turned on and did not work after that.

Bought on Australian Amazon, but has an overseas incompatible wall plug which isnt mentioned anywhere on the ad. Very dissapointed.

A rather affordable TV and it shows. Low resolution, and the picture has to be fiddled with simply so that things are sharp and legible. I would only recommend it for security monitoring, really.
