Great product for dogs with sensitive paws!
Our Viszla has very sensitive paws certain times of the year. Using this spray helps harden her paws for the season. We apply the spray on her paws in the evening when we put her up for the night. Her paws will noticabley harden. She doesn't mind the spray. We hunt our Viszla in all times of the year. This product allows us to hunt longer in rough conditions (cactus and ice) without putting boots on her feet. Her feet hold up a lot of better when we use this product than without.

Yes, it does work!
I was not to sure it would work - but it has. My German Shepherd would limp always across the rocks in the driveways. Used this as they said and it actually has toughened up her pads. Would recommend it for sure.

It works, directions could be better
It smells but it does work. The directions are Twice daily for a week, once daily for a week, then as needed. How do you know when itโs needed?

As advertised
When Iโm training for a long ruck I prep my feet with this. It toughens up the skin in the area sprayed and itโs super sticky so helps my leukotape stick better. Only downside is that if the spray gets on any surface it does stain and it is very sticky.

Bottle is Poorly Designed, But it Works
First off I need to say that this product has worked on my dogs pads. He had ripped huge chunk out of each of his back pads and once they were healed (but still soft) I used this to help toughen the soft spots. Now for the cons. The very first instruction said to shake well. So, I took the seal off, replaced the lid and started to shake the bottle. Next thing I know I have this yellow smelly liquid all over me, the floor, and the counters. I swear that shaking the bottle wasted half of the product! I triple checked the lid and it was on as tight as possible. Then, when I turned the bottle on its side, I had leakage again. So, I grabbed a spray bottle and emptied the entire contents into it. (The spray bottle makes it very easy to apply to my dogs paws.) I'm just annoyed that it is packaged so poorly. And the smell is pretty bad, especially if you spray it!

Seems to work!
I bought this for a 14-day backpacking trip with my dog.I panicked after reading that many people needed to get off the trail because their dogs' paws didn't hold up.I didn't know something like this existed, so I got it a little too late (only a week before the trip). My dog had no issues at all with his paws! However, I'm not sure what exactly helped the most since I did a few things:- Started applying Tuf-foot twice a day to my dog's paws-before the trip and during the first seven days of the trip- Then switched to once a day.My dog also wore Nonstop dog booties most of the time, and I also added musher's wax sometimes, because I didn't want his paws to crack. (It was very hot during our 14-day backpacking trip.)Even in the most rocky terrain through desolation wilderness at Lake Tahoe, he had no issues. I would recommend. But I'm not sure if it would have worked without the shoes. I didn't want to risk anything so I did not try.
