One pack of starter cultures is enough to make from 1 to 3 litres of the product with a consummate taste of homemade sour milk, free of additives and preservatives. Products made by the starter cultures "Bolgari" possess fine lactic-acid aroma, consistent and smooth coagulum, lower post acidification and a lot of useful properties for the gastrointestinal tract. The final products "Bolgari" contain living lactic-acid bacterial strains of types Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophillus, Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacilus rhamnosus, that sustain the recovery of the useful microflora in the gastrointestinal tract and the normal digestive function. The useful bacteria in the sour milk contribute to stronger immunity by excretion of immune-activating enzymes, lower blood cholesterol level and have a range of useful effects on the human body such as: clear the organism from slags, prevent the development of saprogenic processes in the body, regulate the bowel habits, improve the digestion of lactose, enhance the recovery in digestive disorders as colitis, diarrhea and constipation, accelerate the recovery. **Q: Do I need to boil and cool milk for second batch? Instructions not clear on this**
A: It is preferable to boil milk for every batch. The boiling of the milk evaporates water, sanitises the milk and breaks down some enzymes which reduces the incubation time and improves the texture, Not boiling is also an option, but the whey will be more. **Q: Will this work with sheeps milk and goats milk?**
A: Hello P. ThorpeThis starter works excellent with whole sheep's milk and can work with goat`s milk as well. Please consider that due to reduced amount of proteins and lactose in the goat`s milk, the texture of yogurt might be not that thick. However the full fat version of the goat`s milk can provide most of the nutrients which bacteria in the starters need in order to make yogurt.

**Q: Hello, can you tell me if this is an organic product?**
A: Hi Rachel, the bacterial cultures for yogurt are organic by default as they cannot be made artificially at this point, however, this particular product is not organically certified.
