This adapter does exactly what I need it to do
This USB-C HDMI adapter measure 7.5 inches long and weighs 28g (approx. 1 oz). The USB-C plug and most of the HDMI housing is made of aluminum and feel really nice to the touch. This certainly distinguishes this adapter from many that feel cheaply made. But ultimately it is what is on the inside that matters most.I plugged the adapter into my older 2016 MacBook Pro that has Thunderbolt ports that support USB-C Alt-Mode. Attaching a HDMI 2.1 cable, I was able to set up my 4K TV as a secondary display with 4096 x 2160 resolution @ 60 Hz. I have never been able to achieve this before from my laptop to the TV but this adapter allows for it, finally!Unfortunately, my TV does not support HDR of any kind so I was not able to verify if this adapter can handle source material with HDR encoding. My TV also caps out at 60Hz so I was also not able to test if I could send a 120Hz or 240Hz 4K signal. And while this adapter is advertised to support 8K resolution, I sadly do not have such a display on hand to verify the claim. Maybe one day.But for what I need this for, which is to get a 4K 60Hz signal from my laptop, this adapter works great.

I use it to hook my phone to my Android TV box.
We live way outside of town and rely on satellite for our internet. Weather and even heavy clouds can play havoc with us watching a streaming service at times. So I got this device to connect to my Android tv box. This way we can watch even when weather keeps us from using the Sat. internet. As long as we still have data! I haven't used it for anything else yet, so I can't say about other things and how well it works for them.

No Instructions and my phone refused to work with it.
I thought this would be a great item to have. However in my experience the technology was uncooperative and my phone did not even recognize it. I have not tried to connect it to any other device yet; but am not hopefully that I will be able to magically make it work.

Works in a 8k with Macbook Pro
I have a Samsung Neo G9 and it requires a higher power, USB-C adapter In order for it to display on on my MacBook Pro. I've tried all the other docking stations and wires but nothing works. I found out that you either need to get a high-powered 8K USB-C adapter like this or get a 8K HDMI to USB-C cable.

Worked Great - Does it job
This KKF USB C to HDMI HDR Adapter works great. It can produce 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz. I used it at 4K@120Hz and it worked well - does it job. It is also very easy to use - just plug and play.

Quality, well built USB-C / Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter
Plug-and-Play. If you have a USB-C port or Thunderbolt on your computer, this device should work for you. The way this device is created, it should also work as a video-out for Samsung phones. It output 4k resolution from my Dell laptop to my television @60hz. I think It could do higher rates but this was as high as my laptop outputs. The body is aluminum alloy with plastic and seems to be well made. The device is pass-through compliant so It is backwards compatible with USB-C.See attached screenshots for DeviceID and other info. I would recommend this device!-MrA

The KKF adapter did not work for my iPad Pro
This is a review of the KKF USB C to HDMI adapter. Unfortunately, the adapter I received did not work. First, I used this adapter to connect my iPad Pro to a projector and speaker in a conference room. After I set up the connection, nothing showed up from the projector, and noise can be heard from the speaker. When I squeezed the adapter from certain angle, the content of my iPad briefly showed up from the projector. After I replaced the KKF adapter with an existing adapter in the conference room, the content of my iPad showed up from the projector without any issue. Second, I used the KKF adapter to connect my iPad Pro to a computer monitor. Again, nothing showed up on the monitor. When I squeezed the adapter, the content of my iPad briefly showed up on the monitor with noise lines. The above is my experience with the KKF adapter I received.
