Great gardening gloves!
These are great for pruning all our plants! No thorny poke throughs at all! Definitely will buy again.

Good protection against prickers and thorns.
I wasn't really expecting much from these gloves but I've been doing a lot of yard work clearing brush and a lot of thorny vines, and wanted something to protect my hands and arms - my regular work gloves were useless against the prickers and thorns. These gloves stopped all but the largest (1/2" or so) of thorns and prickers. They fit well, though a little bulky, and are very serviceable for yard work. The long sleeve protects forearms as well.

Protection
These gloves are great. They are thick and I like the sleeves are not too long. I can handle nipping puppy. I need this protection because I had the puppyโs claw break my skin and I am on blood thinners.

Go For the Larger Size
I haven't used these outdoors yet but will be pruning blackberry bushes soon. However, I would suggest going a size larger than you would normally wear. I normally wear a large in gloves but found them to be tight, particularly around the wrist area. I returned the Large and ordered an Extra Large which was a much more comfortable fit. I will make a further review of durability and sturdiness after pruning my blackberries! Update: I was able to test the gloves while pruning Blackberry bushes. They are not completely thorn-proof, but provide more protection than any other type glove I've used. The synthetic leather material provides pretty good protection but the mesh material on the back of the hand and fingers allows penetration from thorns. As noted in my earlier review, I would go for a size larger as the gloves are quite tight and will bind at the junction of the glove and sleeve as well as finger joints. I am glad I opted for the extra large size even though I normally wear a large size glove.

Get these! Your skin will be grateful!
I have the nastiest huge pyracantha bushes in front of my house as a privacy barrier, so I got these gloves to protect my hands and arms. I still have scars from trying to prune without gloves! These are great! They fit well, snugly but not tight. They are very well made and protect my skin while also allow me to move my hand in all directions- very flexible. The color is fine and easy to find because of the yellow. I haven't tried to clean them and don't know that I ever will. I kinda like the idea of leaving them dirty so I can see how much hard work I've done! I use them for everything now, not just pyracantha bushes. They're great!

They work!!
These are pretty good. Got them for my Dad to use in the garden. He always complains of getting stuck by the privet we have as our hedge. He says they work to protect him from the pricks and scrapes he isually gets so I give them ๐๐

Average gloves, good forearm protection
For starters I think they run a little small. I got a large. Should have gotten xl. Once I finally got them on It took a couple minutes per glove! Pro: the length and tightness of the glove did protect my arms from scratches and scrapes... however.. When pulling out some blackberry vines I'd already cut, the thorns punctured my gloves often. I didn't experience more protection than a standard work glove provides

Good Protection From Thorny Plants
Got these for a gift, and they were appreciated. They are thick enough to protect his arms from thorny weeds and bushes, and seem durable. The fit and color are nice, and they are comfortable. Would buy again!

These are VERY good. We have a lot of brambles at the back of our garden and this is the first pair of gloves that have really allowed me to handle them comfortably. Occasionally you will feel a spike, but sufficiently protective to not be a problem. Will buy again. Note the size comes up a little small, so maybe order a size up.

Regularly deal with trimming/removing blackberry bushes from the property perimeter. After years of scratched arms, even with long sleeves and using thick winter gloves to protect hands, I was ready to take the plunge and buy arm length protective sleeves. Then I found these - and they are great. I have worn them on a warm day with only a t-shirt and emerged scratch free. You will get the occasional "ouch" through a finger if handling large, extra thorny branches but I found they offered enough protection to avoid bleeding and cuts. More an "ouch" of surprise than genuine injury. Would certainly recommend, especially at this price point. IMPORTANT - suggest ordering a size up as others recommended. I wear a M size and ordered the L which fits fine.
