Definatley worth the extra money
Just purchased the Titan to replace a Port designs laptop bag. There is not much choice for laptop bags that will fit a 17.3 laptop, nevermind an 18.4 so it was either go cheap with the Port designs again or splash out on this. I have not used it extensively yet but it fits the following in it with loads of room to spare: HP Pavilion Dv7 Laptop (17.3 screen) in a large laptop case. Mouse, power supply & mouse matt. Wacom A5 Intuos tablet & pens. Large A4 hardback notebook. Removable hard drive. Small camera, case and power supply. Pens, paper, business cards and general stationary. Spare hoodie. It fits this all in with a ton of room left, it really is HUGE! The laptop compartment is the nicest I have ever seen, felt lined and with shock-absorbing foam surrounding it, it will definately offer brilliant protection. There are loads of different pockets for stuff and even an extra compatment for an Ipad which I use for the Wacom tablet. The build quality seems very good as you would expect for the money and it is comfortable to wear. It is very big but doesn't feel like it is too heavy even when loaded with all the stuff listed above. This bag is well worth the (admittedly very high) price, I realised at times that I was carrying over £1000 worth of equipment around and decided that spending a little more on protecting them was a wise descision. I'm glad I spent the extra money, this seems like one of the best backpacks I have ever used.

Exceptionally Good Bag
As many reviewers have commented, there are very few backpacks with laptop compartments that can take large laptops above 17.3 inches, much less an Asus laptop (g750) with a max height of just under 6cm. The laptop will fit in the laptop compartment snuggly. It is best to lead with the fatter end though. As the laptop has rubber feet, I am concerned that over time, it may damage the lining but we will see. Pros: 1. It is a really good bag for a student or office worker as there is a good laptop compartment and lots of other pockets for pens, files, music players, chargers, external hard disks etc. 2. It is comfy. The back is nicely padded and the shoulder straps are very comfortable, along with the chest strap. 3. The construction of the bag seems very solid and dependable. It can get very heavy quickly so I would recommend not carrying it on just one shoulder strap. 4. Good zips, solid and easy to hold and open 5. The side clips help the pull the back of the backpack towards your own back to improve weight distribution. Most useful. 6. The price. It depends on your viewpoint really as £130 seems a lot for a backpack. However, this is a backpack to carry around electronics worth 10-20 times its value and I think this is the point; a quality backpack to protect your expensive gear. Plus as other reviewers have said, there is a lifetime warranty which is a huge perk. Cons 1. Would like the laptop compartment to be a touch bigger and perhaps even elasticated to help with the really large laptops but this is a minor comment. 2. This is not so much a 'con' but an observation. Although it is a big bag, it is well sub-divided so is not like a hiking bag or anything like that. It is principally intended for the transportation of valuable electronic equipment.

Fits the ALIENWARE M18X perfectly!
A great bag! My Alienware m18x fits perfect in the pocket. At first I was afraid that the edges of the laptop would stick out and pinch the bag, but after contacting Everki they assured me such a thing would not happen. I have taken the liberty of putting up some pictures so that anyone who is interested in the Everki Titan for a Alienware 18.4 or any other large laptop can see that there is plenty of space! I find it better to slip in the Alienware m18x with the rubber fit facing the front of the bag. This way, it slips in and out much easier. Plenty of space for gadgets and more. I do a lot of travelling and carrying the bag around with all my stuff inside does weigh a bit, but the 5 point system makes it comfortable on my back. The top handle also comes in handy when moving the bag around. The material seems to be a very good quality. The zippers are extra heavy duty and so are all the seems. A lot of little nooks and crannies that are great when organizing things inside the bag. (Avoiding having everything roll around inside the bag and making searching for something very complicated.) Shipping was quick and painless:) It is a pricey bag, but well worth it considering the built quality, space, protecting and comfort!

Well-made, big enough, well-compartimented
Pros: - sturdy and well-made - lifetime warranty - big enough for mobile workstations, gaming laptops (not only does it have a generous surface size, it also fits thick lappies) - many, many compartments which will cater for all your needs (but you will need some time to get used to them and find their best purpose) - adjustable, can make it seem lighter even when it's over 12kg, like it usually is for me. Con: - Only good for laptops and accessories. It's build structure won't allow you to go hiking or shopping with it. All compartments are very specific. You'll find it fills up very fast when you put anything else than computer, tablets, books and documents inside. Definitely not a daytrip backpack. RANT: the 'checkpoint-friendly' thing is a dream. EVERY DAMN AIRPORT I've been to in Europe has security people that require you to take the laptop out of the bag, even if you fully open and separate the main backpack from the laptop compartment. Has nothing to do with the bag, I still love it, but I'm really fed up with airport security.

Great backpack but not THAT big!
I travel with work a lot, by road and by plane. I did a lot of research looking for a bag to fit my new (Jan 2014) Alienware 18 and assorted bits into. I love my gaming and so want to have my stuff to hand when on the move. The stuff I want to carry is as follows (clearly limiting to laptop stuff when flying): - Alienware 18 - AW18 Power brick - Logitech G710s keyboard - Logitech G700s mouse - Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset - CoolerMaster Notepal U3 cooler - External 2tb USB drive - Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 - PS3 Slim, controller and cables - Mouse mat (metal) - Various charging cables - Laptop lock - Various discs First off, let's look at the cons of this bag: - The Alienware 18 WILL NOT fit into the intended protective sleeve in the back of the bag without a LOT of force, both on the way in and on the way out. I actually stopped half way. This defeats the purpose of protecting the laptop in my opinion. Everki need to elasticate the sides of this pouch or add half an inch each side in the next version to overcome this issue. - You WILL NOT fit a console into the bag as advertised if you have the 18 and other bits in. The pros: - Extremely well constructed bag with strong grab handles - Strong zips padded on inside for protection, nice touch - Lots of pockets for bits and pieces, dedicated lined tablet pocket - Handy MP3 pocket on top of bag with cable routing for headphones - Very adjustable and comfortable padded straps - Padded and vented back for comfort and airflow - Contrasting orange lining is very good to make stuff stand out when looking for items in the bag This bag just very nearly did it for me. A little bigger to fit in the console and a bit more room in the laptop sleeve would have netted it 5 stars. As it stands, I’ll keep it and make some mods to it to see if I can make it work. May also swap out the keyboard for the Corsair Vengeance K70 from my desktop setup to save some space. An extremely good bag that will probably work for you if you don’t have as big a laptop or list of stuff to lug about. With all that in mind, this is a recommended purchase and worth the asking price.

It's amazing how much I can get into it
I kept looking at this one and so many others but what put me off was a review here and another different review in America that said the bag doesn't hold a lot. It was too many compartments to be able to be roomy. I have a Tarqus city bag that is 10 years old. It's amazing how much I can get into it. Especially when away for two or three days. However I wanted to get a new one that was slightly bigger. In the end I did select this bag. Excellent decision. In the main compartment, there is a divider but that can and happily sits at the back of the compartment allowing a load of space. I got three pairs of rolled up jeans in the bottom to the level of the opening zip end. Easily on top of that I got seven t shirts. I would never take this much, so as far as I am concerned this is a very roomy bag. The bag itself is sheer quality. I can't count the number of times I picked it up in the first week just to open each and every pocket, (yes I know I should get out more but it's the old problem; finding a doctor who will sign the release papers). The pockets are all well thought out and seem to be very roburst. The two side pockets I feel could have been slightly bigger to take larger bottles but that's such a small moan it does not knock ever half a star off the rating. So if you want a laptop bag that will do for a weekend or even longer then I think you will be hard pressed to find one that does it better then this. The divided in the main compartment doesn't prevent the entire compartment from being used as some have claimed, it simply pushes back against the interior wall without using any space up. Everything about this bag is sheer luxury and class. Even the black colour, (I didn't want black), is understated as if to say, 'this is class, who needs to shout it out with bright colours?'

Awesome bag
I recently got an Alienware M18X and soon realised it wouldn't fit in my current bag which I was using for my previous Dell XPS M1730 laptop, so I came across Everki in my search for a bag. I initially found the Everki Beacon laptop bag but read reviews and saw pictures which proved that the laptop just wouldn't fit properly. The Everki Titan however DOES fit the M18X very well. It's a snug fit in the laptop compartment (which by the way, is super soft, furry and well padded) and the bag is able to zip up around it easily. There is a load of pockets on the bag too which can hold pretty much everything you would ever want to take out with you and your laptop. It also includes a rain cover which is elasticated, so you can clip it around the entire bag for rainy days. The whole build quality and design of the bag is excellent. I cannot fault it at all apart from the high price, but you get what you pay for and in this case you also get a lifetime guarantee.

Still Going Strong
I've had this bag over 2 years now. It holds my Alienware 17.3" laptop and heavy charger, easily. I do use a Belkin sleeve before putting my laptop in, as the bottom of the where the laptop fits in to is padded more than other bags but not enough in my opinion. If you put the bag down hard on a concrete floor from your shoulder, you could damage your laptop, or possibly a HDD. Like I said, it's better than all other bags I'v seen. I've used this thing all over the place and not a single rip or tear, just a little fraying here and there over the last 2 years. There's many compartments to fit everything in and it is a BIG bag. I have well over 10KG in this page bag and the straps have no sign of damage. The straps are extremely padded and comfortable, even with the heavy weight. If you really fill the bag up, there's some straps that you can clip around the front that hold it all in place. The bag expands very well too. I've got so much crap in bag but still have room for more. I also saw that someone had made claim on the lifetime warranty and Everki didn't flinch to replace the bag. That was my deciding factor to purchase this bag. You get a waterproof pouch that just fits over the bag, it's elasticated too. You don't need it for light rain but if it's pouring down like here in the UK, it's best to throw it on, it takes 2 seconds. The only thing I would have liked to see is being able to attach a lock the the zips, just to protect your things if you are travelling. Since the bag is so padded, you probably wouldn't feel someone opening it behind you. The bag is expensive compared to many others but this is one purchase I do not regret. Best bag I've had by far. If you've got expensive equipment, don't hesitate to get this bag, as this will protect it all. The laptop compartment is also a soft fabric, so it won't get scratched, as is another compartment in the middle pocket that can be used for large tablets. This was the first expensive laptop I bought, in-fact it's one of the first things I bought off Amazon. If you got any questions or want pictures, let me know. If Everki are reading this, just add a little more padding on the inside, at the bottom of the bag. People buying this bag are likely gamers and hold heavy equipment. I won't be replacing this bag until it breaks. These bags are great, seriously. EDIT 5 YEARS LATER: The bag is still going well. Few scuffs but no rips. The only thing that broke was the small strap that goes around your chest. The strap has a C clamp that pulled off the bag and it's pretty much impossible to put back on. I contacted Everki and they asked for proof of purchase, the serial and offered to send a new strap for free with a shipping fee. However, they stated to fix it, I need cut the bag up to to get the C clamp attached, which I won't do. So no replacement bag, which is understandable. The bag will last you a long time

The best backpack I’ve ever had
I had gotten tired of constantly replacing cheaper backpacks. The zippers would come off track, and the thinner material would fold or collapse once you removed a few items, which made the bag feel sloppy and unstable. I finally decided to spend a little more money on a new one, and I’m happy I did. Yes, the price is higher than many other backpacks, but the quality absolutely exceeds expectations in both design and functionality. The bag is well built with strong, high quality zippers and sturdy material that holds its shape even when it is not fully loaded. The orange interior lining is a great touch because it makes it easy to find what you have stored in the many compartments. I work as an investigator and carry a fairly large laptop, a thick business portfolio, and several additional items I need throughout the day. This bag fits everything comfortably with room to spare. It is slightly larger than other backpacks I have owned, but that extra space and structure are exactly what I was looking for. I truly believe this is a bag that will last.

Prodotto eccellente. Sono estremamente soddisfatto.
Prodotto eccellente.

Great size and quality build, holds up very well in the weather and the rain cover is easy to use and very effective. Definitely would recommend, I use it every day to and from work on my motorcycle and for small shopping trips.
