Oh I can tell you I'm talking about my own experience it was a bad frustrating experience I order it and I send it back two different time cuz I couldn't set it up it couldn't get that RQ code work You couldn't get it to scan by itself couldn't get it connected to the Wi-Fi it was not you you and electronic with like me so I try two different time and two different time I send it back I couldn't get it connected I couldn't get it to work

INITIAL REVIEW: These are pretty good cameras and if you can find a light bulb socket that is in a good location (not always the case) it really saves time in running wires and so on that other types require. The programming of the cameras to the WiFi is very slow and imprecise. I had to factory reset the camera in order to get it to pair. Even after that it took a little while before the camera recognized the bar code on the phone. After installation it has worked flawlessly. The only thing is that certain features are locked away unless you pay for a subscription. You can use an SD card and that will save the video. It has a light that you activate via the app. It also has two-way communication so you can listen and speak. The camera can be rotated remotely via the app - 360 degrees on the horizontal plane and 180 degrees in the vertical - so you can set it up exactly where you want it, when you want it. So far, so good, though. I'm happy with the purchase and I recommend it. Just don't expect the world from it and you will be fine. UPDATE: Two years after owning this camera (one failed before it was even installed) I can tell you that you should avoid these at all cost. The camera is rubbish. The quality of the images seemed to deteriorate with time, getting worse and worse. After a recent storm, the image has become foggy and blurry and the SD card suddenly needs to be reformatted. I have done so, but now there is yet another problem. The Wyze cameras I have went through the same storm, but still work flawlessly. But that's the least of the worries. All of a sudden ads and popups plague every opening of the app and it is almost impossible to do anything with it. The app was never the best to begin with, but now it is atrocious. Stay away from these steaming piles of garbage.

I am disappointed. They want you to buy their service. Even if you have the SD Card..(I got 2 SD cards with 1024 GB and still you cannot view the videos. I stood infront of the camera for about 20 seconds and all it caught to view was my shoulder. It is a nice idea, but it is an ABJECT FAILURE as a security device. Except for the feature of screwing into a socket all it can do is be a possible visual deterrent. Not a practical useful deterrent. If you want to get real visuals and be able to view from my SD card (which cost more than the 2 useless cameras). Attached is the notifications from the app on my phone. You cannot put it near a plant. Every breeze that blows it says it a person going by. There WAS a dim motion detector light which lasted for a week. Now that doesn't work. One time I came and saw the camera swinging from left to right for no reason (via remote phone). I panicked.... I thought someone was trying to break in. I was able to turn off and on the camera remotely. Still cannot see what actually occurred. This in my view IS AN UNACCEPTABLE PRODUCT FOR EVEN SECURITY OF A RATS HOUSE. It is a awful product. Good idea, but awful product. If I had tried to set up right away it could have been returned. I have bought 3 other cameras and THIS TIME I TOOK THE TIME TO READ THE REVIEWS.

Delivery was great on Friday - but weekend activities left us with a Monday installation. The instructions were so small it took a magnifying glass to read them in a 3.75x3.75 page where instructions took up one quarter of the page. It was easy to set up the camera - through five of the ten page instruction. Updated 5/30/22: I originally wrote of the problems I had with a lack of Customer Service. The actual problem was due to these cameras connecting only to 2.4GHz and our router have that plus 5GHz. The cameras talk to an app which talks to our WiFi router who talks to the internet. If one of those has a quirky personality, it may take two - or three - places to ask. After getting them to talk to each other, we are happy with what these cameras do. Be aware the app will explain each time you use it that you simply cannot function without at least $8.33/month cloud storage. The pictures are sharp, color true, and quite helpful. I’m glad we have them.

I love my Up ultra security camera it's everything it said it would be. It shows very clear view of everything, the night vision is great also, this is the second time I have bought this product. I got this one for my son and I am sure he will love it like I love mine. I will be recommending it to other family and friends.

I have bought this camera on two different occasions thinking that the outcome would be different. Cameras only last maybe a good 6 months, then after it will disconnect from WiFi and never connect again. After this all the camera will do is beep beep beep, without connecting to the WiFi and without ever working again. I done plugged into numerous light sockets only to get the same results. For the price it’s a quality camera for 6 months, but the detection sucks. The motion detection never detects people so the clips you will see in the cloud will only be clips after people have passed by due to I’m guessing a time delay. Will not recommend unless you need this temporary
