are these plastic free?

There are many types of plastic in your kitchen, your clothes and even your car etc. Most are harmless in their correct setting. Like 90% of your everyday items, yes, these are plastic. Plastics can be hard and rigid, but to be soft and flexible, some contain others chemicals that have become controversial, such as in cling film. As these very useful bags are designed specifically for food storage, I'm very happy to use them and have done for many years.

Can you put them in the dishwasher?

I really don’t think you should put them in the dishwasher. I use them every year to freeze my home made tomato sauce for pasta dishes but I never reuse them

Can you put hot soup in these bags?

yes I do and never had a problem I leave bag open until soup is cool then seal, put in fridge untill cold then freeze. ps dont forget to label and date

Can these be used like a 'boil in the bag' bag?

never tried it but I do defrost in the microwave and they seem pretty robust when they come out
