This looks good and works well. It’s one of those grown up toys that a big kid will buy and enjoy for a short time showing grandchildren and friends then put it on a shelf forever.It’s out of my system now but I’m still glad that got it.

It is well made and attractive to look at and it works very well, illustrating how a difference engine operates.

A gift for my research engineer father with which he was delighted as it functioned perfectly.A little care with construction is required given the necessarily delicate parts.

I bought this for my Dad who is coming up to 90 for a bit of fun, I assembled it and then purchased a Bell jar to mount the engine when not in use making a decent display.The engine works well when placed on top of a nice cupper and gets some speed on.Build quality is ok except I found that the 2 silver discs that were pressed out, required some deburring with a small file as the edges were very sharp.

amazing tiny stirling engine - the piston is ground glass running in a clear glass cylinder the expansion chamber is also glass so u can see the entire workings - tiny drops of fine oil on the metal metal parts - nothing on the glass piston as it is perfectly sealed and precision ground. an outstanding decorative toy!!
