Spare blades for paper cutting machines

I love this trimmer and for the price it’s a definite winner for me. It’s a heavy piece of kit, solid and non-slip. The double carriage rail means easy and perfect cuts of paper and card, even to millimetre width, every time. I occasionally wipe the double rail with a little polish on a soft cloth to keep the run smooth. The measurements are at the top and bottom of the bed and also across the middle for shorter pieces of material. The “walls” against which the material rests at the top and bottom are high so material doesn't slip, and it has a finger guard which holds the material full width of the cut. It’s self-sharpening but the sound of the cut is smooth, not grinding. The only down side, as others have said, is the split in the bed which means the measurement markings are missing, but I just used an Ikea paper tape measure cellotaped across the split as I do not need to fold my trimmer. The pros for this trimmer far outweigh the cons and I have not regretted purchasing this and would recommend it definitely to others. Fiskars are well-known for precision and they have not failed with the ProCision in my opinion.

Great little guillotine. Easy to see measurements and very quick to use. I have a larger sliding trimmer for big bits of paper and then I use this one to quickly trim smaller pieces. I wouldn't be without it now.

When the trimmer I had had for many years finally broke I cried a lot then searched for ages for a good replacement!! The first replacement I bought (not a fiskars product) had a nice sharp cut but I couldn't see exactly where the cut was going to be and I wasn't convinced it was cutting straight. I read every review going but found it extremely difficult as the reviews seemed so conflicting. I finally chose this one because above all I wanted accurate and precise cutting and I wanted to be able to see exactly where the cut was going to be made. This trimmer has a mark at the top which shows you where the cutting will take place and I find that it cuts straight and exactly where I want the cut to be. It is capable of cutting quite thin strips off which is very useful to me as a scrapbooker often dealing with photographs which need trimming. The ruler is also extremely useful as I am often using 12 inch paper. The score tool was an additional bonus which I have found very handy when making flap pages for mini-albums. So all-in-all I am very happy with this trimmer although there is a BUT... The blades do not seem to last very long at all and I was horrified to find that instead of getting a clean cut I was left with a terrible jagged edge after only about a month. They cost around £3.50 each but the costs are going to mount up if I keep having to replace them so quickly. So I am sticking with this trimmer for now but am going to see how many blades I get through in a year.

So glad I finally bought this Fiskars Procision trimmer!!! I'm making mini albums and I cut paper in big quantities!!! So got fed up with replacement blades I decided to get this rotary self sharpening blade trimmer. Easy to cut and it cuts perfect both directions, most important blade never needs changing! It is a gamechanger for me!!! I wish I got it much sooner! It seems to be pricey at first but if you count how many blades you go through... it is definitely worth investing in!!! Would recommend it to any crafter out there searching for a good long life trimmer!!!

I've used the Fiskars paper trimmer for a few jobs now and have found it to make very precise cuts. Because it folds it's easier to store if you have limited space and the protective guide helps to hold down small paper pieces safely while cutting. The added bonus of a self-sharpening blade also makes it very economical to use. It's well built and very sturdy. It has rubber feet so doesn't move on a smooth service while cutting. The foldout section is a great support for cutting larger pieces of card and the measurements are printed across both areas and overhang past the cutter blade which is useful.

This guillotine has halfed my workload. I use to cutmy card and trackers and there was mm of white left often, which I would have to trim by hand. With this it cuts down to the mm. Amtruly over the moon with it. Gives me great joy everything I use it, and am I sell my crafts, I use it e very day and have never had a problem. A+

I'm not sure what the life of the blade should be but mine got blunt pretty soon I feel. I was making envelopes from thin kraft paper and the blade lasted for like 20 envelopes or so and I had to make 50 and it was the first time I was using it. So yeah if you buy this make sure you buy the titanium blades from fiskars too because this got blunt very soon.

I have a very old Fiskars paper trimmer that I finally needed replacement blades for. I was concerned with the age of the trimmer that despite checking it was the same blade style (G vs I), it would be an outdated fit and not compatible anyway. Was very happy when it arrived the new blade slipped into place perfectly. They work brilliantly. Perfect, clean cuts on an old trimmer again! The price was also much better than I'd seen elsewhere and came with very quick shipping, so I'm very happy with the purchase.

Después de estar viendo tutoriales y sopesar si comprar esta cizalla, una mayor o una guillotina, me decanté por esta, más manejable y de precio razonable, y la verdad es que, por ahora estoy encantada, funciona muy bien, el corte es muy limpio, el hilo hace que cortes justo donde quieres cortar y cuando cortas piezas muy pequeñas es muy fácil de sacar el resto de papel porque se levanta la regla, además no ocupa mucho, es transparente y tiene regleta escondida que hace que las piezas a cortar puedan, aunque sean grandes vayan en un ángulo de 90º, ya que hace que sirva para trabajos en A4 como en A3, utilizando su alto claro, además es estéticamente muy bonita y por su precio me parece muy recomendable, creo le voy a sacar mucho partido seguro. Decir también que llegó en muy poco tiempo y perfectamente empaquetada, cosa que es de agradecer.

Bin bis jetzt sehr zufrieden. Sehr stabile, solide Ausführung, sauberes, ungefährliches Schneiden und die Blätter bleiben liegen. Ich denke die Rollklinge macht den Unterschied. Was ich allerdings vermisse, ist ein Tiefenanschlag um Blattstapel besser ausgerichtet einzulegen - vor dem Schneiden - da Blätter beim Auflegen sehr wohl verrutschen und auch wegen der Wiederholgenauigkeit beim Schneiden mehrerer Teilstapel. Und ich denke es wäre auch Platz gewesen - ähnlich wie bei anderen Schneidemaschinen - ein paar Winkel und bevorzugte Papierformate aufzuzeichnen, das kostet ja nix mehr in der Serie. Ach ja, was mich noch etwas amuesiert - ist die Aussage das "die auf dem Stahlband laufende Rollklinge selbstschärfend ist, ist ein Austausch der Klinge nie vonnöten" aber z.T. ein paar Ersatzklingen beinhaltet sind.....egal. Für den Preis und Anwendungen ein gutes Produkt - das allerdings noch verbessert werden könnte.
