Q: I have bought this but how do I get the green fixtures to separate into the three sizes? I don't want to damage it.

Think they just unscrew then u have 3 separate fittings for the size u need 🙂

Q: Has anyone used it upside down to catch falling seeds?

Haven’t used it for that but it a good idea! We wanted it to stop the squirrels getting in & pinching the bird food, we have one underneath & one on top.
