At first it worked fine, but 1 year on the battery life has dwindled to almost nothing - about 25 minutes to go from 100% down to nothing. Had contact from the makers - their precise words were:"And as you can see we offer replacement batteries, the performance and life time is shorter than original ones because we know that our technology isn't so advanced as Apple, so we offered our product in a much lower price. Nonetheless, we offer a warranty of 12 months. Should the battery fail within 12 months, we would surely help you. But as I explained previously, that all batteries would die eventually. As you may understand, that our battery is just dying because of its limited lifetime, it's not defective."Fair enough you may say - but the Sloda battery is about between a third and a half of the cost of getting an OEM battery fitted by Apple themselves - and my original MacBook Air battery lasted 5 years - and was still working better than this one.
