This sling is probably best used for showering after a rotator cuff or total shoulder replacement. The after-surgery sling you wear after surgery cannot be taken into the shower. This sling is particularly suited to showering since it is made of light, open mesh, and is quick drying nylon. It is not a long time wear sling. Shortly after surgery when your arm is still in a sling full-time, you can wash the affected arm right through the open mesh, without removing your arm. You’ll only use it for about two weeks. it’s a good value for that purpose because it’s inexpensive and one size fits all.

Great alternative sling to shower with after shoulder surgery. You won’t need to get your daily regular sling wet in the shower. I use this one and hang it up to dry in the bathroom. Mesh construction makes it dry quickly. And has a padded strap for your neck.

I purchased this to use in the shower after having rotator cuff repair surgery. It does the job just fine and dries fairly quickly. The only thing I wish it did have was a waste strap to secure my arm a little more. Anyone that has a large sling with a pillow will know what I mean by this. Nonetheless, it works just fine and is good for either left or right shoulders. Separately, I did purchase a travel/camping pillow to bolster my arm in the shower also.

this sling is great for taking a shower, it is not a high grade medical sling that some complained about the quality of, but that’s not what it is intended for. This has been great for taking a shower and keeping arm secured after rotator cuff surgery. It is lightweight and drains very well. You could also use this on a hot day as it is well ventilated, but again it is designed for using in water and do not think it will last a long time for everyday use. It has been great for me during surgery recovery.

It's okay but a little too large for me. I'm 5'4", 140 lbs, female. I wasn't able to adjust the strap enough to fit with the padding the right placement on my neck. I only needed the sling for a brief time. If I was using longer, I would need to make some adjustments creative adjustments, perhaps with safety pins or needle and thread...

I bought this after separating my shoulder as a sling to wear in the shower. It became the ONLY sling I wear. Comfortable, BREATHABLE!!!, dries quickly, easily adjustable with a pull-strap (not velcro), and it just does the job. The breathability make it a great sling to wear if you are active and going out on walks and hikes. As a cyclist off the bike and needing to get outside and exercise, this is an outstanding product.

I needed a spare sling for showers after my shoulder surgery and this was great. Easy on and off and easy to adjust. Worked great as a back up sling when I needed to clean my other one.
