One coat! What a relief!! Good thick consistency, but be warned, once the can is opened, the paint will form a top crust in a matter of days once air is inside the can, even if you have sealed the lid well again. However, this can be prevented by laying cling film directly on top of the paint to ensure that no air gets to the paint. It is a bit smelly, and does take a while to dry thoroughly, but it is the best gloss I’ve ever used, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.
