How long is the headphone cord?

Don't bother. The old version was AWESOME. I still have them 20+ years later. I bought these because I LOVE the original ones and wanted a second pair for my home studio. I'm a drummer. These DO NOT sound half as good and the cord separation is just stupid. They come of the ear cups and join at about 1 foot. At that point there is a connector to attach the included cord, which I believe is 6 foot.

These have a slightly different look than those on the direct sound website. are these 100% manufactured by direct sound, or are they built elsewhere?

This is a worthless product to a certain extent. Sure, it is very good at sound isolation BUT the plastic headset easily comes apart. I slightly moved the headset apart a month or so, after I bought the product, in order to put it on my head, and it broke off on the right side with ease. Not worth buying, therefore.
