Is this a deck building game with cards in front of you which gets bigger or just you play one or more cards from your hand as reactions / your turn.

The game itself is just a card game without a deckbuilding mechanic. Deck construction does play a significant part of the meta game like many card games such as M:tG, but with the advantage that, as it is a "Living Card Game", the "chapter packs" of cards one buys always contain exactly the same predetermined cards (and 3 copies no less so one immediately gets a full set for complete deck construction options) removing the element of randomness/luck in that regard (no rare cards etc except special alternate art cards used as tournament prizes).

Will playing this game give the story away?

No, not at all. The game is based on the characters and places of the world. The fights, intrigue and interactions are your own.

How many players can play this game?

It can play 2-4 players. I've only played 2 player but There are instructions to make 4 balanced decks using the cards so you can have 4 people play at once.

How big is the box? Will it be easy to take on holiday without taking up much space?
