The Enchanted Tarot: 30th Anniversary Edition

Love this edition of the Enchanted Tarot and, yes, the cards are big but for the first time you can see much more detail in them and the borders are not plain they have an underlying tapestry pattern. You also get a purple velvet bag with gold rope to store the cards and a sturdy box to keep everything in. The backs are lovely with a gold tapestry pattern on a creamy background. Card stock is pretty good too. Best edition yet of the iconic tarot. I have the first edition from all those years ago and much prefer this edition as youn can see a better rendition of the images and this is probably why they needed to be so big.

Where to start?! This lovely box is great quality, with a very comprehensive book and a cute purple velvet pouch to store your cards in.The cards themselves are a beauty - the detailed artwork, the intricate designs - it's almost as if they're paintings. They're too big to be shuffled over hand, but don't let that stop you.

For a very inexpensive tarot set this is lovely. The cards are huge, beautiful and easy to read. The cardstock could be thicker but that doesn't detract too much from the cards as they're lovely. The box is awesome and very sturdy and the spreadcloth is useful too.Overall, a brilliant tarot deck set, I'm glad i purchased it.

I kept seeing this deck everywhere and I am one that loves intricate graphics although I am fairly a new beginner, I have been quite accurate when it comes to readings even with non beginners friendly decks. This is so beautiful,each card tells a story and even with one card reading or simple cards reading you are able to get a lot from it. My only critique with this deck is that the graphic it's more beautiful and sharp in the guidebook, I feel like maybe because the cards are quite big they were saturated quite a bit to maintain a detailed result in the print,if that makes sense? I feel like the card images are a bit grainy, not majorly, just a tiny bit...not as sharp as in the guidebook but still beautiful and vibrant. Very romantic deck. I think the glossy finish helped to still have a nice result in the final print. Card stock it's alright but I don't have many decks to compare too, some people said it's a bit thin but I think it's sturdy enough. In terms of the size everyone keeps mentioning after a few times you get used to it, I just started shuffling them vertically and I haven't had a problem and I have short fingers. Another mention about the guidebook it's beautifully written, I love how detailed it is and how it takes you in to the psychology of the card.It's nice deck for relationship readings.

What a magical tarot !! Beautiful in so many ways , the book is wonderful , the bag , the box , the cards all are very ENCHANTED !

The cards are beautiful but too big for my small hands. It came with nice box and a velvety pouch for the cards.

I echo what so many others have said about this 25th anniversary issue of this deck. The cards are WAY too large to comfortably handle, and they also take up a huge amount of table space for layouts like the Celtic Cross, etc. By too large, I mean each card is 6.5 inches long by 3.25 inches wide. Basically, a Celtic Cross layout would take nearly a yard of vertical space to lay out, allowing for space between the cards. Never mind how difficult the cards are to shuffle.That being said, they are very pretty to look at.However, when I tried using them (in smaller layouts) I found them very hard to read. The designs are quite busy and some of the images are confusing ...arms, limbs, etc, all entangled. Reading them reversed is a real challenge. While each card has its identity clearly marked at the bottom of the card, you WILL have to read the words in most instances. Which is not easy to do, upside down! Trying to form an overall picture of the reading by just looking at it in its entirety just doesn't work for me with this deck. It's far from intuitive to use.Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty deck. And I will probably keep mine, just to take out and admire it, every now and again. But use it for any more readings? I doubt if I will. Lots of pain; no gain.

El Tarot es hermoso es más grande de lo que pensé, la calidad del libro es muy buena y además viene con una bolsita preciosa. Rápidamente se ha vuelto de mis mazos favoritos.

Bem diferente das medidas tradicionais, o que dá um charme incrível.Tem um livro lindíssimo. O papel é excelente, todo colorido. Es muy hermoso, las cartas son grandes y vienen con una bolsita de terciopelo para guardarlas y el libro es muy util e interesante aunque esté en inglés.Las imágenes son muy hermosas también. Lo recomiendo

Questa edizione degli Enchanted Tarot arriva in un cofanetto di grandi dimensioni e lussuoso rispetto al prezzo di vendita (una ventina di euro). Il box contiene un libro a colori di circa 200 pagine, un sacchetto di velluto violetto e un mazzo di grandi dimensioni (vedi foto per un confronto con il canonico mazzo RWS).Molto belle le immagini e i colori delle carte, con un dorso bianco e dorato di bell'effetto; i dettagli sono curati, e le carte hanno una buona consistenza, con una ceratura discreta.Viste le dimensioni, per mescolarle suggerisco metodi alternativi ai soliti e più delicati - io in genere spargo le carte sul tavolo, non avendo mani gigantesche.Interessante il mazzo e bella l'energia che trasmette. Si prestano a letture in pubblico.
