Single unit works on all 3 doors
This review is for the sake of the lovers of older model cars that were equipped with homelink. I have a 2009 vintage BMW. Current home was built in 2021 with MyQ WiFi garage door openers (x2). I tried every combination of Jeeeny, LiftServant, Dehomepot and aftermarket transmitters and even stand alone receivers to "Train" my old BMW to work with the new openers but they all failed. Yes yes, even when I got the independent receivers to click acknowledgement of receiving a signal, the MyQ openers would not respond to the hardwire connections. They have become too smart.Last ditch try was to get this Homelink Compatibility bridge. well what do you know, It works! Not only does it work, the single unit works on all 3 doors. Just have to train each homelink button separately using the same "trainer" remote and link each button in the car to each door. Yes, no confusion, no button one closes door 2 while opening door 1. It just makes homelink in the old BMW work the way it used to.I got 3 garage doors to work, I do not know how many would max it out. But it does seem to be locked to that trainer remote that comes as a set. It won't respond when I tried to train the old homelink with a different (old) remote with matching frequency. The car will take the programming, but the bridge will not respond. Must clear all other old learned remotes from the car first before it correctly accept the new training.Works as claimed and yes, can confirm that one bridge unit operates 3 separate MyQ WiFi garage door openers.

Garage works (again)
It’s annoying that I need to add this extra item to make the garage work, but it works. So I’ll just be happy. We had a 2022 Camry that had an accident. So we went with a 2023 Lexus and no matter what we tried. We could never get the garage door to open. Which was annoying as both cars are new, both cars are Toyota. After being annoying with the remotes for awhile I finally decided. $35. Just try it. And within 3 minutes. Homelink now works with our car. Which is more than fantastic. I’m not sure how rolling codes and such work, don’t care. We have a 5 year old garage opener and a 1 year old car. Should work. Doesn’t. But this was a simple fix.

Helpful seller
I purchased this product because I was having trouble getting my home link in my car to link to my garage door opener. This product was recommended. However, after ordering, I was able to get the home link a garage door opener to link by holding the remote and the link button for a very long period. I had trouble with my Amazon return at first. I contacted the seller. They were very helpful with the return process. I would highly recommend this seller for your garage door opener needs.

It just stopped working…
I set up the product and it worked okay for about a week and a half for me, but was always finicky with my husband’s car. I reprogrammed it for a couple times and again it would stop working, but typically after at least a few days. Finally, it just stopped working all together. My garage door opener will act like it programmed successfully (by blinking) but the button in my car won’t work. This product is trash, and so is the support. If you call the number on the manual you can’t reach a person and the automated system just reads the manual to you. I went to Honelink’s website and was able to reach email support but after asking me a bunch of questions they’re of no real assistance and simply said that if I program it I should wait until the learn light turns off before using it…which it does and that if that doesn’t help to purchase another bridge because that one may be faulty but of the links I was provided the Homelink one just spins and the Liftmaster one doesn’t even have a Homelink bridge available for purchase. My advice? Just don’t bother.

Does the job but can be frustrating to setup and use and here's why
The concept is simple- the old Homelink mirror that is neatly and conveniently integrated into our auto-dimming car mirrors, doesn't speak the latest "Security+ 2.0" language that our newer garage door openers and gate operators speak. So here comes Liftmaster with a neat solution. It speaks both old Homelink mirror and current Security+ 2.0 languages! It is happy to listen for your Homelink mirror button and then it simply transmits in Security+ 2.0 to the opener and everything is supposed to work great! And basically it does but there are two things you should know BEFORE you decide use this.1. Setup - People who are educated and think they are clever, like me, think they can deviate from the setup steps. Do not do this. The remote that comes in this kit looks EXACTLY like a regular remote- IT IS NOT. It is ONLY used to PROGRAM the Homelink Mirror to send commands to the 855LM. Once the mirror is programmed, that is the ONLY remote that will trigger the 855LM to pass an open or close command on to the opener. In other words, clever guys like me don't want to climb back into our car and press the Homelink button (partially due to Item 2 below) and instead, we just use that "remote" that comes in the kit. We start to program our opener, hit the remote button (not the mirror button) and, nothing happens. You MUST use the mirror button to join the 855LM to your opener. SUGGESTION: Liftmaster should make this MUCH more clear. This caused me a lot of frustration. I finally found a support thread, one single post, BURIED in Chamberlain's website that said that the remote that comes in this kit is programming the LM55 to the mirror ONLY. It will not trigger the LM55 to open or close anything, like a regular remote.2. Homlink mirror range SUCKS. It is VERY SHORT. Worse, they are slow so you need to hold the button an annoyingly long time. So much for the $700 we plunked down for the auto-dimming, learning remote mirror. I find myself needing to keep the original remotes in my car for when the weather outside doesn't let the anemic Homelink mirror signal get through. Even from 10 feet away. This causes anger and is unreliable. And folks like me over-react and re-setup everything only to find the same poor performance.ALL THAT CONSIDERED, it does work and it is not expensive.

This solved my compatibility issues with my Chamberlain opener and Toyota vehicles . .
Chamberlain swears my B750 opener is HomeLink compatible, but I could never get it to work with my '24 RAV4 or '25 Highlander built in remotes. After I installed this bridge, I was able to get it set up and functional on both vehicles.
