This shelving is a godsend. I liked the three-pack so much that I bought a two pack of the 450mm and another of the 600mm. Packaged with mercifully clear instructions and a rubber mallet, the only additional tool you might need is a screwdriver to encourage the occasional recalcitrant tab into its proper slot. Once you are in the rhythm, it is straightforward to assemble and can as easily be disassembled if you decide to change shelf heights, for example. The shelves are sturdy and stable once assembled, and can be bolted into the wall or joined together if you so wish. My only wish would be for Storalex to sell extra shelf units, but you can't have it all.

After years of squeezing through the piles of all sorts in my garage I finally decided the time had come to sort it out. I measured up and chose four of these shelving units due to the extra depth and ability to split them. I have three full size for storage and two half size for workbenches with storage below. They were delivered within two days and, although fairly lightweight as a kit, were very easy to slot together and are easily strong enough for domestic use. I have a tumble dryer on a shelf of one unit. The extra deep shelving means I have been able to store all of my stuff and still have space left. My garage has never been so tidy and I can actually find what I'm looking for. Very stable once built and even more so with extra weight on them. I connected mine together with metal connectors and there are holes if you want to fix them to the wall. All in all I'm very pleased with them and will be ordering more when I get round to sorting out my shed. Fully recommend.

Very quickly delivered. The shelves were easy to assemble, but I have purchased shelves from this company before so I was aware of what was required. The shelves can seem a little unsteady at first but once you get some weight on them they are sturdy enough. The only downside to these shelves are the little plastic ends that are supposed to fit on the top and bottom of the shelve legs but don't, even if you do get them on they ping back off as you are walking away, they are not essential and my advice is to leave them off. All in all the shelves are great and I have already recommended them to various friends.

These units arrived the day after ordering which was great. The first one took me over 2 hours to assemble, the second 45 minutes! The unit is extremely well manufactured, there is no need to worry that the various tabs need bending to get a good fit, just put it together straight out of the box, all that is needed is a tap with a mallet ( a wooden one is fine) occasionally to make sure the rails are seated properly. Put the feet on last, not at the beginning as has been suggested elsewhere, otherwise they fall off continually during assembly. When the unit is assembled and needs moving to its final position, remember how it's put together, and move it carefully holding it below the centre. It's designed to take vertical loads not horizontal Put the MDF decks in after you've moved it. Each shelf has a central support bar, which also helps to brace the unit, put each one in as you progress, not at the end, and bend the tabs to tighten. All in all, an excellent purchase, I shall be buying another pack of two.

UPDATE: I bought a second set of shelves and all the same comments as below. However, this second set had a problem. While the longer front and back shelves attached very easily, the shorters ones - ALL THE SHORTER ONES - were bent incorrectly and ended up being a real pain to put in place. I got there and I have shelving units that work, but it was a lot harder than it should have been. I wonder if there is a QA issue as someone needed to check that their machine was bending things properly! I found the first one a bit fiddly to put up but the second one went up much quicker. These aren't the most stable shelves in the world in that they are still a little wobbly, but they are strong and I don't have any worries about their strength and ability to hold weight. I especially like that they are very deep shelves and it is easy to set the shelves at different heights. Although I wouldn't want to move the shelves once I'd put them in place. Delivery was very fast and they carried them to my garage for me and everything needed was in the package as you would expect. I guess the real question is would I buy them again? And to answer that, I will be buying a couple more soon. I am giving them 4 stars simply because they aren't quite as stable as I expected and if I had to move them I know I would end up having to put them back up again as they wouldn't stay as a single unit when being moved. But then again, I don't plan to move them!

Got two of these to short out my shed with, extra deep, simple to put together and very sturdy, make sure you read the instructions, it's important the little locking tabs go in the hoops correctly, they should not stick out from the hoops, didn't have a rubber mallet do used a lump of wood instead, the shelves are MDF with a central support bar to stiffen them up, MDF doesn't like moisture at all, so being in a shed I gave them a quick coat of 50% PVA glue to help seal them from the damp. Very please with the shelves, nice and deep and very stable, already filled them up with "stuff" some of it quite heavy and no sign of wobble, I was going to bolt them together and back to the side of the shed, but there wasn't any real need to, as they are perfectly ok, free standing

I bought a total of eight of these for my shed. They were easy to assemble. after having them now for some time, the only bad thing I have to say about them is that the boards are too thin to support the weight of packs of tinned food as mine have bowed. I think the suppliers need to use different boards or increase the number of cross supports under the boards, as currently, there is only support in the middle and I think they should supply 2 supports for each shelf as this would help spread the load and prevent the bowing of the board.
