So I realize that this may take a little learning curve, but I haven't gotten my Loop Lasso to run for more than 15sec without tangling. If I do get a good loop any, and I mean ANY wrist movement and poof - tangled.Some of the videos shown are waving this thing left n right with crazy string patterns. Yet, mine is lucky to hold a single loop.Not sure if mine is defective or not. I'll mess around a little more tonight.Pros: Great packaging.Update: Okay, so I figured out I was stringing the cord incorrectly. What appears to be a break in the plastic is there by design (which I had read previously) but I did not understand that the string needed to click into this grove. Once that is done it does really work and does a good job.Still not a 5-star review. That 'break' in the plastic should be designed differently. Snapping the string into this can easily fray the cord. That will eventually lead to more tangles as now it will catch on that 'break' easier.In just a few days I have already ruined 1 string. Admittedly - my cats may have had a hand in that.Another plus? Cats really like this and they'll chase and jump for the string. A new market possibility?

First, definitely watch the the instruction video. The printed instructions are terse, and if you don't feed the string just right, it will still seem to work but jam constantly.Once I had it fed properly, it was pretty neat. You get a loop, and can get weird shapes if you wave it around. It's a big enough loop that your friends can jump through it. It can still jam pretty easily if you try to move it too quickly or at the wrong angles, but admittedly their strategy of using a smooth string so it's easy to untangle works well.The blacklight effect is definitely worth it. Looks great in the dark.

Bought it for my 8yo son for one of his birthday gifts. I ended up playing with it more than him. It’s super cool. Try to keep it going as long as possible. Do tricks like making the loop change shape, flip around sideways, change speeds for effects, make waves, all kind of stuff

This is a very fun physics toy. It’s a little cheaply built but it’s very cleverly made. I quickly found out the hard way that you shouldn’t use this around cats because if you do, they’ll think it’s a toy and try to catch it, which fries the motors. It now makes a very loud sound when being used but other than that it works fine. (It’s a little over priced in my opinion but the current price isn’t bad)

After about 20 seconds of using it the string jams up on the feed wheel. The string was hard to feed into the gears to begin with but it's good now. It tangles easily and this is very much a waste of money and a gimmick at best. Also, it's incredibly loud. Cool idea though!

This toy has been a big hit with the fam! I put it on the end table by my sofa, where they pick it up, turn it on, and start fiddling with it. When someone creates an interesting pattern they call out to share it with the rest of us. It's a good fidget toy as well as a conversation item. It's not the sort of thing you'll play with for hours at a time, but it is something people will pick up over and over.

Great product, very fun and easy to use. Excellent for keeping my cat off the counter. He is terrified of the fast moving string and light. 10/10 will continue to use to keep my cat in line. Oh, and my kid loves it. That’s probably the more important part since it’s his toy. I’ll probably get one for myself.

I have probably less than an hour total of playing with this. One string broke almost immediately. Second string started fraying the moment I used it.They both failed at the seam in which they were sealed. Kind of annoying and is already just sitting on my desk not being played with.
