Great Bass Drum Head!
Great head! I used to have to stuff my bass drum with loads of material to get the sound I want. After pairing this with the evans emad pillow, my bass drum has never sounded so good! Great product, great value for money!

Great sound. I like the dampening rings. I would like to see an even smaller dampening ring as the smallest one was almost too much for in the room but records well.

I have tried all of the EMAD series of heads, as well as the Remo and Aquarian counterparts. The ONYX is the best for punch, dynamics, and speed. Speaks more clearly as low volumes than the EMAD2 or Heavyweight. If you want speed & tone try it!
