Versatile parts
I used this part to fix a tailgate on my 1994 Ford F150. The hinge cup welded on the tailgate had rusted off, and no one makes a replacement part. But this pole holder is the right dimension. I trimmed a flat on the mounting flange, drilled and tapped the tailgate, and mounted this. It fits perfectly with the hinges, hinge screws and plastic inserts I also got on Amazon. Presto- fixed tailgate. Now I have three leftover brackets to hold.... clothes poles.

Excellent design - Hardware not so much
Design of the cups are superior. However, do yourself a favor and toss out the cheap horrible screws. The heads will either strip or snap off even with pilot holes drilled. Toss the mounting hardware and buy a pack of good wood screws at a big box store.
