Small and practical
Small compact great spout and fits away anywhere , we use it in case we have no electricity in our motorhome, when travelling we can stop on the move and have a cuppa ☕️ as we can use the gas, it holds enough for two mugs at a time , perfect

Nice 1L camping kettle
Now summer is here I am about to start my yearly dog rescue camps around the UK, so when this camping kettle came online, I got it to try out as its 1 Litre capacity is ideal for me. It is a good job that I got it when I did as there have been a lot of power cuts lately so the kettle as come in very handy. So far, I have been impressed with the kettle as it's circular design with a flat base seems to give an even heat across the who kettle, so in turn helps to get the kettle to its boiling point quiet quickly. The build quality seems good as the main body of the kettle is made from a lightweight aluminium, with what seems a heat-resistant handle and pouring hole. The whistle itself builds up in volume as you would expect it too, but not over the top with still a nice loud enough sound. With the kettle being made from a lightweight Aluminium, I would suggest not packing it with any heavy items that could dent the kettle body. Features: ✅ Built-in whistle ✅ Aluminium ✅ 14cm H ✅ 16cm W ✅ Heat-resistant handle ✅ Lightweight ✅ Non-slip grip ✅ Sturdy Please Note: As a member of the Amazon Vine program, I was supplied with this item free of charge. I will always provide an impartial and fair review of the product in question. The way I rate products: 5 Stars – Exceptionally good, High-quality product with no perceived shortcomings 4 stars – A very good product that met my expectations 3 stars – A product which could be better in some respects, but is still fit for purpose 2 stars - A product with significant shortcomings, one which disappointed 1 star – A poor product, unfit for intended purpose Overall, at £12 it is a great camping kettle to have when camping or at home, so I would recommend it :) (£11.99 at the time of review)

Great little kettle
I was looking for a small kettle to take with me when I go camping solo - and it was perfect! We also used it when camping with the whole family and again - it performed well. I find it does not whistle but this is not a problem for me and I am very happy with this little gem. Fresh coffee every morning - I'm happy :-)

Spout Whistle Mechanism does not work, as it is not airtight
Kettle looked good. Nice and light and seemed well made. However, when I went to boil the water, the whistle mechanism did not work as it is not airtight, so the steam escapes from the spout, not via the whistle. The whistle is important to me as I like to know when my water is boiled, so, apologies to the manufacturers, but I'm going to have to rate this kettle - CRAP!

Not as good as expected
The product looks good, but it is not great quality. I tried it and when you pour water, it leaks from the pouring attachment which is not safe when pouring hot water of course. Also, it doesn whistle as it doesn't seem to seal properly. I contacted the seller and after 4 days, I have heard nothing back. Not impressed and for sure I won't recommend it.

Works well enough. Reasonable build quality to it too.
It's not bad for under £12. It's not without its drawbacks but it works fine. It's quite well made and has a wide base for the given volume, meaning it should absorb a lot of heat, meaning faster boiling times. It does whistle too. There is a video attached of it coming to the boil. Takes a while before the whistle is at full volume, and even then it's not as loud as you were led to believe in Tom & Jerry cartoons, but it's loud enough to be noticed when you're near it. It's made quite nicely and fairly sturdy. It's not going to take a lot of punishment before it takes damage though, so pack it carefully. Don't go packing it alongside heavier items. I even like the capacity being only 1 litre. It's a sensible amount for the intended use and it means you don't go waiting ages to boil water that you most likely will just throw away anyway. As a basic camp kettle it's fine. As the title said though there are a few things you should be aware of. For a start, it's better suited to being used with a gas stove rather than an open flame. The handle and opening mechanism is plastic so any flames that lap up around the kettle will melt them. Secondly, the handle is very close to the actual kettle body, no doubt to keep it small in size to pack away easily. The problem is your fingers wrap around the handle and get quite close to the metal kettle body. When you upturn the kettle to pour water out your fingers can come into contact with the hot kettle, so be careful. It's not a deal breaker because you soon learn to keep your fingers away from it, just be aware. Not a bad thing and it's a fair price.
