Although I do not play cards as much as I used to, I saw these and wanted them right away.QUALITYThese cards are textured. They seem to be VERY durable. The printing is good and the quality of the artwork on them is really nice too.SIZEThese playing cards are standard size- the smaller types that will fit in your hand if you are playing cards. Some cards I have used are a bit larger and harder to hold.WHY I GOT THESEI really like these as playing cards, but I also like these for another reason. I am an artist. I am learning to do oil painting and some other media when it comes to portraits. I wanted to have some inspiration to work from WITHOUT USING PHONES OR TABLETS in the field. These were a perfect choice for me.PAINTINGS AND INFOEach card not only has the name of the painting on it, but it has the year it was done, the name of the artist, the country of the artist, and the dates of their lives. This is helpful for art in general but also very interesting to have well laid out.THE BOTTOM LINEI like these cards a lot. Although some of the portraits are rustic primitive art which I am not interested in, there are enough portraits I am interested in using as inspiration that I find it is worth having.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. Not only for playing cards but also the art history involved with these. A portion of the proceeds go to preserving art at the MET.

This set of playing card is super artistic and beautiful. I’m actually going to purchase all other series since it looks so good! I believe this will bring some fun time for parties and it will also be a good gift for friends.
