Smiffys Women's 1920's Black Flapper Costume

Excellent! I bought this for a roaring 20's costume, but it really works as a stylish dress. I looked great and it wore well. Of course, you need a strapless bra, which I've never found to be functional or comfortable. On me, it rode low, but looked fine. I'm also short, so the hem came past my knee. A few of the fringe fell off, but it's really not noticeable. It has the headpiece, necklace, gloves and cigarette holder. Good value.

This is an adorable flapper costume! I do have to say, order up a size because this is a snug fit! I did have to tighten mine a little bit in the top, but otherwise this is perfect! You get all the accessories for this costume, which are the long gloves and beautiful headband. If you're looking for a jazzy costume, you can't go wrong with this one!

I actually loved this dress when I finally figured out the right size. I’m 5’9” and am currently wearing a size 12. I originally ordered the XL, but it was ridiculously large on me. Since I only had a week before my event, I immediately reordered a medium. It was perfect! The material stretches a little, so it can fit curvy women. The reason I gave 4 stars is for the accessories. The headband was okay, but the gloves were terrible. I ordered an 1920’s accessory pack (there’s plenty to choose from on Amazon) with gloves, headband and jewelry and used them instead. The feathers on the headband were crushed, so I actually used the feather from the headband that came with the dress (with some hot glue). I had no troubles returning the XL dress and was pleased with both the product and seller.

Loved this dress for a twenties themed party. Fit perfectly and wore really well and comfortably. I’ve put on some extra weight lately so Wasn’t sure about sizing but this worked out very well. Great value!

Amazon is my go to place for a lot of things but this is the first time I've been slightly unhappy with an order. Yes, even though I made this purchase almost a year ago, I still expected a little better. I ordered this flapper dress for a Halloween party for last year but had to cancel. I never opened it until now. The dress is made a little different from the picture shown and it fits weird. Its slightly big at the top and tight fitted at the bottom. I am a curvy lady however I don't think it should fit that way. Also, the product stated it comes with a headband and gloves. There were no gloves in the package, the feather on the headband is broken, and it looks like it was just thrown over in a plastic package. I had planned on wearing it for a mini Halloween dinner this year but not so sure if I want to.

Very happy with the dress. I wear size 12, Large fit perfectly. Great length to just below knee, just like on the picture (I'm 5'6"). Was impressed by quality and cut. Head piece was ok too. The only disappointment was gloves, I don't know what they were smoking when they were making these gloves. Just don't count on gloves, keep in mind that you're going to buy them separately.

Wow! This product came from the UK - here in America, if I bought this same get-up, the quality would be very low, but when I got this, I was really very impressed with the quality! The flapper dress was made with good materials, not scratchy or thin, classy, and all the accoutrements that came with it were beautiful! I got many compliments from others from my performance. And it came just in time!!

I ordered this for a party. I'm not sure how long it will last as it looks very cheap up close. However, for one or two wears, it will work fine for a themed party! I especially like the length on this - it's longer than most other flapper dresses and more modest. I bought a shawl to go over the top for more modesty. I'm glad I sized up as ordering my normal size would have made it too tight. The fringe is not as full as pictured so I'd recommend sizing up so the material doesn't stretch and reveal gaps in the fringe. The gloves that came with the outfit are very cheap and do not fit well.
