Yes, it's ok! These buffet tongs have smooth edges that won't scratch kids fingers, and the 7-inch size is perfect for kids to use to pick up food!

How is the quality of the serving tongs?

I purchased them for use with my pic n mix station in my shop. They have a reqlly good claw grip on them. Washed well. If you are looking for small tongs, these are perfect.
