I started buying whole egg powder a few years ago. Price wise, I don’t find it to be a better deal than fresh eggs, but it’s great to have on hand if you run out of eggs or during an egg shortage. Since I live in a neighborhood where our homes sit on 1/3 acre lots and we have an HOA, I’m not able to keep my own chickens. These powdered eggs are the next best thing when I can’t get what I need at the store. I use them in cooking and baking, and they work every bit as well as fresh eggs and taste just as good.

Was suggested by a carnivore cook on you tube and the high quality made my “bread” recipes great since I do not eat carbs!

This is most likely NOT 100% egg and I'm pretty sure there is cheese in it. When I mixed it with water at a 1:2 ratio, it was basically water and when I did a 1:1 ratio, it looked, smelled, and tasted like cheap nacho cheese, and had a sweet taste, which egg does not have. When I tried to scramble it, it would not cook and stayed a sticky mush texture, like melted cheese, and when I added oil, it would not mix with the oil, but the oil remained separate. I actually bought this to make cosmetic products containing egg (i.e. hair mask, face mask, etc.), but I wanted to make sure it was actually egg because the color was too golden and bright and the smell was off. I'm pretty sure this is cheese and not egg. Mainly because it doesn't cook, but it burns - like cheese, it has slightly sweet taste, and oil would not mix with it, also like cheese. I think if they were honest and sold this as powdered cheese, that would be great, because it tasted like a decent powdered cheese, but saying this is 100% egg, is false, it can't be. Egg is not sweet and egg mixes with oil, so this ain't egg. It's either adulterated with other stuff or just completely something else. Sad I can't get a refund because it's all going in the trash. I can't risk using something that I don't know what it is.

A great product for keto baking

I mainly use powdered eggs in pancake batter and cornbread. I have used them to bake a pound cake and it turned out great!

Quality. Ease of use.

I just got it so I haven't used it yet, but it's not 8 oz. I realize that it's only .4 off, but egg whites are expensive. I hope it gives me big fluffy meringue for my egg white products.
