They look really cute on and I like them. My regular size fit, but for a clothing item made for activity, I would expect for the fabric to have some give, a little stretch, but it doesn't. So in a kayak, sitting for a while, they do end up creeping up and pinching your "lady bits", lol. For this reason I would suggest going up a size depending on what you'll be doing while wearing these.

I bought the plain shorts in the brand and they fit nicely but the patterned ones fit small.

The fabric is lovely and I think I would like the front closure if they fit, but I barely got into them and every time I move the Velcro pulls open. I ordered based on my measurements according to the fit chart but I need at least a full size more. The hips are especially tight. Also while the pocket is *technically* a real pocket it might fit one card, sideways, maybe.

Lovely funky board shorts, material dries fast, , comfortable to wear, though small sizing and fit plus could do with a better fastening rather than velcro and ties that don't seem so helpful on movement!
