It does not fit my truck, but I am trying to find out if it will provide even less fuel than a standard pump when a cool air intake mixes better?

This has nothing to do with cold air intakes. If your current fuel setup flows more than what this fuel pump provides, you need a higher flowing fuel pump or think about a dual fuel pump setup.

I believe the 1200 is designed for E85 fuel.
