Ernie Ball Earthwood Folk Nylon, Clear and Gold Ball End, 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings - 28-42 Gauge

Recently purched a Grestch Jim Dando parlour guitar, but couldn’t find a set of strings that played well. Before dropping my new guitar in the guitar recycling bin, I bought these nylon strings, now all is happily tuneful. A joy to play, innit!

I’ve been playing an electric guitar on and off for the best part of 17 years. For a variety of reasons, I’ve decided to move towards away from electric guitars and towards acoustic guitars, with my current axe being a fairly basic 4/4 classical guitar. These strings arrived exactly as pictured within the product listing and were relatively easy to fit. I made a mistake the first time trying to fit these strings, resulting in a ruined string, but generally the process is very similar to stringing an electric guitar as a result of the balls on the end of each string. The strings seem to hold their tuning well once broken in, but it did take a few days of playing to get to the point where I didn’t need to significantly retune before playing. The sound produced by these strings is fairly bright and warm, while also remaining somewhat clear. It’s hard to really describe but I’m pleased with the results. Overall I’m happy with these strings. So far they’ve held up for about two months, and they don’t seem to be going dull just yet.

I used it on my main guitar first to try the nylon string, sounds great, but I can not use to thickness of third string. Change them to a really cheap beginners classical guitar, it gives the old guitar a new life. The quality justify the extra cost.

Easy to apply

・・・と言いたいですが、３弦が合わないですね、ナットの溝もテンションも。 一番切れやすいのも３弦。ちゃんと整備すれば良いのでしょうが・・・。 なので単弦でも販売してもらえると助かるのですがね。

Çok yumuşak bir tel. Gayet güzel ses veriyor Akorları 3 4 günde falan oturur gibi. Tavsiye ederim.

Corde in nylon con pallino adatte anche a chitarra acustica di buona qualità.

Confortáveis e com boa sonoridade. Bom custo benefício. As cordas virem separadas individualmente realmente parece proteger um pouco mais. Recomendo.

I had steel strings on my Acoustic Guitar but wanted to give Nylon Strings a go. I had ones many years ago. Happy to say at present all is well. Got them on after taking the steel strings off. If any one else does the same I would recommend adjusting the strings slowly on and off over a few days. give them time to stretch out. So far so good.
