If I could make this item 0 stars I would. It is not any type of bone it is plastic. You can tell by the way it looks and it feels this is a big rip off. Do not buy it. You’ll just be sending it back because you won’t want your knife to look like it’s made from plastic. I returned it myself will never buy another one.

Not real antler material! You can see the tooling marks on the plastic backside of the piece where they made it flat. And also you can see the plastic moulding tabs

If people would read it says “resin,” which would indicate it’s not bone.

These scales are thin. They feel like plastic. They are ok for making decorative scales over a metal slip joint knife. They are to thin for a fixed blade. They would require very thick liners to be used on a fixed blade.
