Boiling eggs is hardly an onerous task. None the less this kitchen gadget stillmanages easier, quicker, and more efficient (since you're not boiling a pan of water). You don't have to worry about pans boiling over (or forgetting and boiling them dry), and the results are consistent and, in my experience so far, never over cooked to rubberyness. The device is small which a help in most kitchens.Buying this I thought I was probably wasting my money. It turns out I use it almost every day, if you like boiled eggs it is definately worth it.

This exact same model is available under lots of different brand names so take your pick. I chose one on Prime to get it next day and hey presto.We have a Severin egg boiler at the office and this Tower one is much better because it switches off when done. There's no beep but no problem, you get to know when the eggs will be ready.The water measuring cup as others have noted is the only downside. It's rather hard to read and use. I solved the problem by measuring out the water in shot glasses for our regular orders: (these being 2 soft boiled: 1 shot glass and 3 hard boiled: 2 shot glasses). Works great and you don't have to be fully awake.They always tell you to pierce the ends but I don't bother - never had a problem. Well, just once in years of using these very handy gadgets.You can allegedly poach in it or make an omelette, but too much faff.

It cooks eggs just fine, but there should be a beep or something to let you know it's finished. I thought the whole point with these devices is that you forget about watching the time, but with no beep you have to keep an eye on it or residual heat will overcook the eggs.

We use it every day. It is so easy to use and clean. There is only one point I need to address. There is no alarm sound to tell you when it is done. So either you have to watch it or many trips back to the kitchen and see the red light has turned off.

Fair play this product is amazing.For years I've been looking for a product that can make perfect eggs whether it be poached or boiled.Like many of you reading this, like me you probably have loads of different gadgets in your kitchen to try and achieve the perfect result but this gadget does it all.... And does it how you want.Fill the little cup with water as instructed, prepare the eggs as instructed, turn it on and you'll get what you asked for as a result.I've now thrown away all the silicon\plastic rubbish products I've previously bought and this is in it's place which has saved me space too.

What a pile of c***. The first one lasted 2 days, I called Amazon who replaced it. The second arrived within a couple of days and lasted 1 day, failed to work after first use. Not worth the hassle as such would recommend you refrain from buying this item. Worth mentioning, I called manufacturers customer service department who were useless and told me because it was under a year old so I should deal with Amazon. I just wanted to provide feedback on this item and that they should cease to manufacture anymore until they resolved the reason why these breakdown so quickly. Total waste of time.

I had weight loss surgery, so I cannot eat big potions of food anymore. But I need to get as much protein inside of me as possible everyday. This little gadget cooks Eggs at its best! You can leave it on till the finish for a hard boiled egg or turn it off early for a runny egg centre. It also does poached eggs and omelettes. I did try a poached egg but o did it with water as I don't like Butter and I can't have Oil due to my new lifestyle. So I tried with water the egg stuck to the plastic holder, I might try using Spray light see if that helps. But over all this machine is a life saver! I can take it to hotels with me as I cannot eat breakfasts now, so I always secretly take a mini toaster and my Tower Egg machine. This machine is so fast, easy to clean. You get a little cup to fill with water to pour on to the machine before cooking eggs and h see the plastic cup is a small pin to pierce the bottom of the egg, then you turn the egg over so the pierced hole faces the top. I wasquite scared to piece the egg and end up with egg yolk all over me haha, but no it's 100% safe :-)Best little gadget I've ever bought! And on the plus side it also comes with 3 years Gurantee!

So far we've used it only twice but each time it made perfect eggs, exactly how we wanted using the plastic glass markage. The egg cooker self is compact and nice looking and really easy to use. Can't say anth about durability but on the package it says 3 years guarantee. Absolutely to recommend!
