Can this sand walls please

This is ok for light small jobs, not suitable for industrial use. It will sand plaster on walls made from brick. It would sand a hole in plaster board walls if sanded to long or hard. 1 star out of 5 for quality and life span for the actual sander. Poor quality, doesn't last long before smoking / over heating.

I need to sand down small sections of unvarnished wooden doors, where my cat has scratched them. Is this the right tool for the job?

As long as the doors are flat where they need sanding this will be fine

Can this be used to sand metal?

Yes, with the right metal sanding paper. Only suitable for short term usage, can't really use it for long periods of time. Gets hot and starts to smoke. But OK for small jobs.

Would it be ok for sanding down skirting boards

This is a lightweight sander more than capable of sanding skirting boards. Remember using different grades of sandpaper helps all Sanders.
