Cheaper than local supplier
Due to lockdown I was catching up on some jobs and needed a supply of gas. These are the same as my normal supplier but much cheaper.

Excellent value.
3 bottles for the price I paid is excellent.

Doesn't last long
Works well but does not last long at all. You'r better off getting a hobby weld 9 litre (or bigger) cyclinder as a refill costs about the same as 3 of these small cans and last a lot longer...

Great Gas for Welding. Problems with Disposal and Size
The good is that this gas mix gives a really good weld run on mild steel compared to pure CO2. Allows a smooth action and the actual process seems far nicer on my Clarke MIG machine. The bad. Too little capacity. I didn't really think this through as this size of cylinder comes in a variety of charges and ways of being described. Seems that the main option is 110L or 60L for this mix and to be honest 60L is not enough unless you are only welding a few inches. To be fair the seller does give you a good price for each unit compared to other suppliers, but my advice would be to find a larger bottle if you are doing anything more than tacking up steel. There is one issue that won't go away though. Disposal of the cylinders. I took these to my local recycling center in Norwich who promptly rejected them. And of course you can't put them into the bins either or return them to the vendor as they are 'disposable.' You end up in a Catch 22 situation. I have been told that you have to ring up the council and they will direct you to industrial waste disposal systems - which of course you will have to pay for. Hmmm. Overall a good mix but I should have gone bigger and in light of the issue over disposal probably better to get a rental bottle and refill as required.

Very little gas in them
Lasted about 10 mins for all 3 bottles. Got the same from Toolstation and still going 2- hours later. When delivered you obviously canโt tell how much gas is in them. Very poor product.

3x 0.95lt Bottles Feel it is wrong advertising Gas displacement. Not Bottle size which is 0.95L
One bottle lasts around 30-35min , so 3 bottle maybe 1.5hr to maybe 2.5hrs if out of the wind an can run at lower pressure. Also bottles in every other place would be called 0.95ltrs bottles, Not as listed 60ltrs
