In our case, these were simple Philips screws though apparently some Panasonic microwaves have security screws that require a particular screwdriver bit (again, best to check first). This replacement bulb cost less than Β£5 including Prime next day delivery. The old bulb was held in by a single screw and was very easy to swap out. Despite what is shown in the listing, the bulb I received is an LED type rather than filament (like the old one). It gives a slightly "colder" light. However, it works a treat, has adequate light output and hopefully should last longer! So, we are most chuffed as our microwave is again fully functional - with the repair costing less than Β£5!
