Solid, reliable and string reel. Absolute bargain. Line sticks with no tangles etc. Highly recommended

Lovely reels with nice fluid action
Lovely reels with nice fluid action. Would definitely recommend. Needs light line. Used cheaper line which kept coming off so moved to Preston 0.26mm and now operates perfectly without getting snagged up.

Nice whilst it worked
Nice reel when I got it, but only a small amount of use the bail arm spring has snapped. Cost is around £10 for a new one, but the design is poor so probably will snap again in a short time. I have had much cheaper reels in the past which have worked just as well and lasted longer.

Excellent reel for a non-sealed spinner
I've got a dozen or more of these crossfire reels. I'm a hard core daiwa user and I was awaiting some daiwa BG spinners that were running late.. So I picked up a few of these crossfire reels way back.. And I'm still using them! It's not a daiwa BG but it's just as smooth.. Keep it clean and hand wash it with soap and water, then dry when you put it up.. They're still just like new, the oldest ones I have being over a year old.. Love them! What are you gonna do for 35 bucks! It's worth double that.. Good choice for an all around, super smooth, one way anti-reverse, strong drag spinning reel with daiwa quality.. Can't beat it! Easy 5 stars as all other reels in today's daiwa line up!... 🦈 Fish on!

Fine reel under $40
Nice reel for the price, very smooth with fairly good drag. I paired it with a Shimano Solora spinning rod and it came out to be great budget combo for medium action...by the way Amazon has the model name misspelled as Solara instead of Shimano Solora, check it out.
