Its absolutely wholesome very very sharp.cuts uncut bread like a knife through butter.best knife i ever had.

Does 12inch knife refer to blade, or the whole knife.

12"" is perfect for the blade and 5"" for the handle. Mercer bread knife and BRAVEDGE 8"" Chef's Knife and 7"" Santoku Knife are my favorite kitchen knives because of sharpness and practicality.
