If you have ear pain on descent, you need these. I have suffered for years with ear pain when flying until I tried these out. I will not fly without them now. My ears would totally block and would pop for days before returning to normal. Sometimes it was very severe pain and the frustration of partial deafness. Not anymore. Pop these in before you start the descent and make sure they are in well and leave them in until you are off the plane. Now I can travel without worry and pain. Now my hearing returns to normal as soon as i am in the terminal. Use once and dispose. Absolutely awesome product.

I suffer from awful ear ache during flying- I mean so bad that I've almost fainted and wanted the plane to make an emergency landing!These are perfect! They come in a little plastic container that I just pop into my pocket, and slip in just before take off. They fit neatly into my ears and are really comfy! They also help keep out the loudness of the plane (as well as general snoring and crying babies!)The packaging claims that you replace them regularly but I've found the same pair have kept me going as far as the Philippines and Germany from London within the same 6 month period- as long as you keep them in the plastic container away from dust!Highly recommended and such a saver for sufferers of airplane ear ache!

I purchased these for myself and husband as on my last flight I had the most excruciating pain on descending into land on a flight to & from Poland, and for a few days after including deafness. Just returned from our hol to Dom Rep, and used the Earplanes. Well what can I say, did they work. All I can say is that I never experienced any pain at all on take off or landing on outbound and inbound long haul flights, so I would like to say they worked, but unless I tried without them to see if I had the pain, I will never know and wouldn’t want to take the risk. I am going to buy these for my grandchildren that we are taking to Florida next year as when we last went, my Grandson complained of pain for a few days after flight and do not want to risk this happening again. Will always travel with these in future.

I have always suffered from ear ache on plane journeys, but to make things worse I had an ear infection a few weeks before our holidays and I was dreading the flight. In desperation I bought these and I am so pleased I did. I followed the instructions precisely and suffered no pain whatsoever. It is strange to hear the "valve" hiss and pop from time to time but not unpleasant. As an added bonus, it did dull the noise of a noisy brat two rows in front.

Have some issues with the claims on this product. My partner has difficulty with his ears flying, so had these. One ear was okay but the other was worse than not using them. I tried them and found that both my ears were very painful afterwards. We only used these on one trip only (had 2 lots) so this was not due to overuse. Will not be using again.

I was recently diagnosed with Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD) and Tinnitus. I was concerned if flying would have an effect on my condition. I did some research and found the earplanes. I purchased two sets as I had 4 flights during this month. I followed the instructions and I had no discomfort on any of the four flights. This is a huge relief for me as I feared that my Tinnitus might get worse or that I would suffer with severe pain particularly during descent. Neither of these things happened. I can recommend them fully.

They do the job, tend to fall out here and there, and can sometimes feel uncomfortable to the ear. But it's a good price for what they do
