Myprotein Impact Whey Protein - Chocolate Smooth 2.5KG

Great taste my go to.

I’ve never been a fan of the taste of protein. This is definitely one of the better tasting ones I’ve had. Good quality, mixes well at a great price, it was cheaper than buying direct from Myprotein.

9% Leucine content for the price is pretty great. It mixes well enough that there is no residue and the taste (chocolate smooth) is similar to the chocolate flavour of Carte D'or ice cream. The chocolate itself masks about 80% of that protein taste that I always find in powder which is good enough. Bought a 5kg on Black Friday so the value is pretty much unbeatable for the quality I'm getting. However, with the bigger bags come a cost. The powder tends to clog up the plastic locking mechanism to the point where I had to transfer it all to another bag/container since it couldn't close properly. Overall would definitely recommend. Might just bite the bullet and buy the coveted Salted Caramel/Chocolate Brownie flavours at full price when I eventually run out of this one.

I love this protein, been using it a while. Mixes well. I normally add to skimmed milk and give a really good shake (protein shaker is a game changer) and then drink straight after exercise. I tried mixing it with the milk in my overnight oats the other day and had lovely chocolate oats, but I definitely prefer it just as a drink.

got the product used it, but i double that it is real or not, packaging is very bad nothing to close once open, very very sweet like drinking sugar water only, I don't know what it is.

Cheaper then the myProtein website when you consider postage. As for the protein powder itself, I used to use Optimum Nutrition as that's one of my all time favourites. If price wasn't an issue then I would probably vouch for ON in terms of taste however myProtein still tastes great and is pretty much on par with ON. (FYI I get chocolate smooth) Given that ON is far more expensive I'd say this is without a doubt one of the best bang for buck whey proteins around and is my go to these days.

Easy to mix

Besonders angenehm ist, dass der Shake auch mit Wasser gut trinkbar bleibt, ohne wässrig zu schmecken. Mit Milch wird’s natürlich cremiger und intensiver, aber auch pur absolut alltagstauglich. ⸻ 🌀 Löslichkeit Die Mixbarkeit ist sehr gut: Im Shaker löst sich das Pulver schnell und gleichmäßig auf, ohne Klumpen. Auch nach dem Stehen gibt es keine Ablagerungen oder Nachmischen. Gerade morgens oder nach dem Training ist das ein echter Pluspunkt. ⸻ 📦 Alltagstauglichkeit Die 2,5 kg-Packung ist ergiebig, gut wiederverschließbar und wirtschaftlich. Ob morgens, nach dem Training oder als Snack – der Shake ist schnell gemacht und belastet nicht. Chocolate Smooth hat sich für mich als “Go-to”-Geschmack etabliert, weil er sich nicht aufdrängt, aber auch nicht langweilt. ⸻ ❗️Kritikpunkte Wer sehr intensive, süße oder besonders außergewöhnliche Geschmäcker erwartet, wird hier nicht komplett auf seine Kosten kommen. Chocolate Smooth ist eher zurückhaltend – das ist aber auch genau das, was ihn so alltagstauglich macht. ⸻ ✅ Fazit Chocolate Smooth ist ein solider, angenehm milder Proteinshake für den täglichen Gebrauch. Gute Löslichkeit, ein unaufdringlicher Geschmack und verlässliche Qualität machen ihn zu einer sicheren Wahl – gerade, wenn man langfristig bei einer Sorte bleiben will.

I'm not a fan of the chocolate flavor at all but this protein powder does have good reviews from reputable research organizations. I'll try a different flavor next time.
