Using this on an ipad with drawing apps that do not have "palm rejection", will this prevent erroneous marks caused by the edge of the hand or palm?

Hello, yes, it will solve that problem, your palm will not be detected if it's covered by the glove.

How thick is the material?

The material is thin but it is stretchable, the thing that I really love about them is that the gloves really shield your palm from the pen jumping to it.

When you are writting with pen and paper, will it still smudge?

It hasn't for me, and I've been using it constantly for several months now. If you were to apply heavy ink (filling ink in a drawing) then it might, I've never tested it that way; but for normal everyday writing it should be just fine!

Would this work on a kindle?

These gloves are made to keep a pen tool on your touch monitor. On most touch monitors when the palm touches the screen the point of the pen jumps under the palm. ‘‘This glove keeps that from doing that. Having a kindle I don’t think that this is needed on a kindle
