Good value and looks good. The adjustment mechanism can come loose when putting it on, but once you are aware of this it is no problem.Tying instructions are wrong but there are plenty on the internet if you get stuck. Recommended.

I always used clip bow ties in the past but wanted to try something different.The tie is well made for the price, fabric had a nice feel to it and a nice black colour. I must say it wasn't easy to tie at first but after 5/6 goes it was easier to get the knack of it, and it looked great. I would recommend you try and practice before the big night so you don't get to panicky an hour before you are going out.One last thing, this will look great at the end of the night undone around your neck.

After searching high and low throughout the shops for a self-tie bow tie I had limited success, coming only across pre-tied. This led me to order this bow tie at a great price. It's very good quality and it attracted a large number of compliments from the idiots that had taken the easy pre-tied route (no offence lads) also in the evening it can be undone and left hanging ensuring you look like "a boss" doing your thing on the dance floor. (The ladies love it). Overall great product.

Tie looks great draped around my neck!Tie was required for use at a social black tie event where clips were banned. I have no idea how to actually tie it but I'm sure it will look just as good as it does loose.

Material too shiny. Difficult to tie neatly.

Don't be fooled in the way I was, I have always assumed that satin is a super posh material on a par with silk, however I found out the hard way that satin is simply a type of weave. The bow tie is actually made of polyester! For this reason, the tie looks good but feels a tad cheap. Otherwise, a decent product.
