The Ear Book (Bright & Early Board Books)

My daughter loves the Dr. Seuss books. Especially the book, ‘ Oh the wonderful sounds Mr. Brown can do’, so I wanted to find other books like it and this one is really great. My 7 month old really loves sounds right now (animal sounds, knock knock, bang bang, boom boom, etc), so this book is really a hit at our house!

This is my son absolute favorite book. He had one but we read it 5+ times a day that it broke so I had to replace it. The book is colorful and engage toddlers. I touch his ears every time I read “ears” and do all the sounds for the train, ding dong, and dum in the book which I think made him love the book from my initial reading of it to him. I sometimes get awoke by him touching my ears and saying “tick tock mommy” with the book in hand ready for me to read it. All toddlers are going to love this book as the length is perfect for them and it allows engagement between parent and child.

My niece loves this book. We practice eyes, ears, nose with all of the Dr. Suess board books. Great for getting children interested in reading and learning. Highly recommend. Easily worth the $5 price.

I was a little disappointed that the pictures have been revised. WThey’re not quite as cute as the original. However the story is the same and the pictures are very similar. I’m very happy with it. The child is 20 months and just love this book. I have an old one that she’s been reviewing and some of the pages are ripped. This will replace that.

All the older grandkids got their YEARbooks paid for by Nana this Christmas...the baby got an "EAR" book instead! This was the absolute perfect solution for us since baby needed something similar to the others. The book is a cute, little hard bound board-style book, just the same as the larger book I've seen on the library shelf. It's just right for chewing on, oh and for letting those older grandkids read to said baby when she's willing to listen! And by the way, now she knows how to answer when we say, "Where's your EARS?"

Another great board book for our collection. My son is currently 2 years old, and even though this book is simple and short, he still loves the flowing nature of the writing and asks to have it read to him over and over. He has significant portions of the book memorized and enjoys participating in the reading process.

My daughter, who has been reading since she was 1 1/2, loves this book! I love this size board book so I bought a bunch. My toddler learned to read using these small books very quickly! She is now 3 and is an excellent reader.
